2012 Mazda Mazda3 - Fun little car
This was actually the first vehicle I owned. I was driving around my parent's Corollas before then, and I can definitely say that I prefer the Mazda3 for the same price range. It handled pretty well in most cases (although, not so well in the snow), it is really "fun" to drive. You hear a lot of people say that with Mazdas, and I think that they are just have very responsive handling. If I could change something, it would be that the dashboard lining has started to come off a bit... I think that, over the years, the interior is going to diminish, so I'm enjoying my ride while I can now. I've noticed that the headlights are also starting to become a bit foggy. No rust or anything yet, and it's been everywhere, from the snow to the sand. As far as driving performance goes... well, it's n... (more)
Story
I used to be a delivery driver, and I had so many good memories with this car. One time I was stuck in someone's house because the police were doing a search in a nearby area, and they told us to stay indoors. Well, I had a job to do (deliver food, very important), so I ran outside of the house, jumped into my car, and continued working.
Pros
This car has a lot of pros. Driving is really fun, responsive, and fairly comfortable. The sound quality of the stock speakers is pretty impressive. It is possible to upgrade to a Bose stereo system, but I honestly don't think it's necessary. I think that it is certainly more stylish than a lot of other cars in the same price range and category. It seems a lot less sterile than a Corolla or something very common like that. I keep it clean, and a lot of the time people are impressed by it and think it looks really new, even though it is about six years old now, haha. The exterior looks very... (more)
Cons
I think the handling could be better in very hard driving conditions such as snow. I definitely fishtailed a lot when it started snowing, and there was no clearance of snow yet, but I think that's pretty normal. I think with two-wheel drive, like this car has, it's going to be hard to have good handing in the snow. Right now, I feel like this car is pretty basic, but I wish it had some nice touches to make the interior feel more comfortable, such as nicer seats and maybe something like seat warmers. On long drives, it starts to get uncomfortable. I also think that the quality of the interi... (more)
2009 Mazda Mazda3 - Great Starter Car
The Mazda 3 iTouring is a great starter car for people. Mine is a 5 speed manual shift with a 1.8 liter, 4 cylinder engine. The interior is cloth. This car has been remarkably dependable and low on maintenance costs during my ownership. For a small car, it accelerates nicely and handles very well. The fuel efficiency is very good getting more than 30 MPG on highway driving and about 25 MPG in the city. Besides the fact that it's dependable, it came at a very affordable price range at under $16K for a new car. The only drawbacks to the car so far have been size of the interior, which is a little on the small side, and the fact that road noise is fairly significant while driving. Additionally, this is not a great car to drive in the snow. Low traction environments like snow caus... (more)

2014 Mazda Mazda6 - Brookdale Mazda Mitsubishi Brooklyn Center
The staff was great to work with through the entire process. The exact car I wanted with the right color, trim etc. wasn't available, but they were able to get it transferred from a dealership in Iowa at no cost to me. They answered all my questions and even followed up with me after my purchase to make sure I was happy with it!
2013 Mazda Mazda3 - Eich Mazda Saint Cloud
The dealership was great because they treated my wife and I with kindness and respect. We feel that we could trust the employees that helped us through the process of purchasing a car.
