The pathfinder has been pretty good on gas mileage.. especially the highway. It's comfortable enough to sit a family of four for long trips, but gets a little cramped with five people. The Engine and transmission perform well, but the same doesn't go for the overall drive train. There could be issues with the control arms, and eventually might need replacing. This is not really a good trait considering that control arms are suppose to last just about as long as your car, plus this is a serious safety issue when going over 60mph on the highway. Overall it's been a good driver, but starts to lose some stability as the years pack on. I would recommend it for a careful driving family of four. Perform routine maintenance and paying attention to "problem signs" will most likely keep this car... (more)
Story
When I first got the car, me and my family went on a thirteen hour trip from Atlanta through Chicago to Milwaukee, and It was a blast. This will always be memorable because it's one of the best times I ever had. It was the first road trip with my kids and they were surprisingly good, plus we didn't have to stop so much. Maybe it was more of me just expecting the drive to be horrible and not re... (more)
Pros
The pathfinder has a great body style compared to most SUVs on the road today. The interior is a walnut wood grain surrounded by premium leather. The sunroof is essential for a vehicle of this style, as it creates character and gives it an even more upscale look. The trunk is vary spacious and will support a good amount of luggage on long trips with the wife and kids. If that's not enough room, you could always make use of the luggage rack. The back seats also fold down, reducing those trips to the home improvement store and providing ample enough room to slide most large appliances, wood... (more)
Cons
Routine maintenance is key to keeping this car running like it's suppose to be. Include that with a careful driver and you shouldn't have to many problems. Issues begin to arise when the car is being mishandled. Driving this SUV like a sports car is not recommended. Consistently flooring it when the car is at a stop sometimes creates a "hiccup" in the transmission that causes the rpms to fly over 3000 rpm's and not want to change gears. Another issue is the AC and heater unit. When there is too much condensation in the heater/air box, it causes the resistor to malfunction. This usually wou... (more)

I love my Nissan Pathfinder Jeep. It is a great looking car and it gets good gas mileage for a jeep of its age and class. The style is classy and sophisticated. I rarely have any maintenance issues or repair costs. There are no obscene noises, squeaks or clanks coming from my jeep. My jeep is fun to drive and I can drive it on the road or in the snow. It seats 5 passengers comfortably and my family never complains that they are cramped in the car. I feel very safe driving my jeep and I haven't gotten into an accident with it. The performance is exceptional for a car of this class.
Story
I remember driving to Georgia in my Nissan Pathfinder Jeep with my kids. We stopped to get food, gas and take frequent bathroom breaks throughout our trip. It was a very scenic trip, because we stopped in several cities along the way. We all had lots of fun and now we love to take road trips every Summer.
Pros
The top positive things I love about my Nissan Pathfinder Jeep is the style, engineering and maintenance. I do not have to be stuck in a mechanic shop getting my car repaired every month. I drive to and from work and take my kids on road trips throughout the year and we rarely have any problems. I could not ask for a better car to drive.
Cons
The only con I would have about my Nissan Pathfinder Jeep is that I wish that it was newer and got better gas mileage. But, other than that, I think that it still is a great car for its age and class.

Very reasonable salespeople. The employees are very nice, and give amazing deals on cars. I would go back to this dealership time after time, because of how well I was treated. I really owe them a big thanks for getting me on the road.
