I have owned my Ford Explorer since 2008, and it has been super reliable. It has third row seats, which I rarely use but when I need the extra seating space, it is great to have. I've moved cross country with it, hauled our dogs around many places, made countless trips to the home improvement store, hauled a myriad of different items, and helped several friends move as well. The interior is holding up great, and the middle/rear seats fold down to give me plenty of hauling space. The only maintenance items I've done are changing the oil regularly, changing the spark plugs once, refill wiper fluid, refill engine coolant, and new tires. I couldn't ask for a better SUV for the last nine years.
Story
On Christmas day seven years ago, we went to pick up my wife's grandmother from her house to take her to a family gathering. It had snowed several feet and the roads were "drive at your own risk." We drove through mounds and piles of snow only to get stuck about a block from her house. It took a ton of snow for us to get stuck. We spent about an hour digging snow out from under the truck, ... Pros
Very low maintenance. Very reliable. Middle/rear seats fold down for hauling things. Capability to tow trailers and boats.
Cons
Not the greatest on gas mileage (it's an SUV so what do you expect?). Paint on the roof luggage rack is chipping.

The 2002 Ford Explorer provides a smooth ride. You don't notice the bumps in the road hardly at all. I don't like that the seats are leather because if it's really hot outside, you burn your skin or of it's cold you're skin is really cold. There's a third row of seats which is really convenient for family trips with extended family. They were foldable so it was convenient for extra space for other stuff as well, however, the seats got stuck after a few years and I've never been able to get them to come back up. The battery that came in the truck has up for a pretty long while but I've had to replace it within the last couple of years. The breaks, surprisingly, held on for a long time but I replaced them, as well just in case. The interior started to wrinkle and crack when it sat down f... (more)
Story
We were able to pack two families into my truck for a beach trip to Callaway Gardens.
Pros
The truck still runs good after all of this time. The paint had little to no marks or peels, so that's a good thing, too. CD player. Heat and A/C still work great.
Cons
There was a recall letter sent out some years after purchase because of the cruise control or something. The third role of seats got stuck and I still don't know why. Although it runs good, there's a slight roaring sound when first pulling off that's really annoying.

The selection of vehicles was amazing. They had up to date everything. Not just old cars that have sat foe months they had to get rid of quickly. I felt they were interested in my investment.

They work with their customers when making payment plans and if you are going to need an extension on a payment. They are also friendly and a very God like family.
