Speedy but not luxurious
This car is not very good on ice or snow. It skids somewhat easily but has good handling. If is somewhat fun to drive but not more fun than the Ford Probe that I used to have. It is zippy and gets you somewhere in a hurry. Overall, it is not very luxurious. I had a luxury '05 Chevy Impala that was totaled, and I bought the Sunfire with my insurance money. I wish I had my Impala. The Sunfire's air conditioner does not work when idling. I like that it is zippy and has been well maintained by it. It is nowhere near nice like the Impala, and above all, my favorite car was the Probe. It is not near as fun to drive as the Probe was, and the Probe could drive in any kind of weather...whereas I am terrified of ice and snow in the Sunfire.

Decent starter car; many quirks
At eleven years old and 140,000 miles, my Sunfire is starting to show its age. It's a comfortable car to drive and ride shotgun in, but the backseat is cramped and fuel economy is so-so. The trunk is of decent size, but even with the back seats folded down you don't have the full width of the trunk going into the back seat.

I would say I viewed it as positive but not spectacular.
This car performed it's role quite well for me over the years. I bought it used with around 120,000 miles on it. It was a Pontiac-Sunfire it's body was jet-black the interior was made with some kind of nice grey fabric I am not a expert in fabrics so I couldn't tell you what kind. it had a couple small tears but nothing major. for how many miles it had I felt it ran well and was fairly cheap on gas. The car lasted me about 5 years. It didn't have many problems at the start ran about 1 year without any major problems eventually the ac went out. The window wipers malfunctioned as well I had to get those fixed I ended up just toughing it out without the ac never had that fixed. It ran smooth for the most part. about 3 years in I got into a accident and the door got completely smashed on the drivers side and the windshield was cracked (I am lucky to have received no injury's). After the accident I had to have the door replaced, the windshield they replaced free for me. shortly after this however the car started running into problems, The car kept overheating when I took it into the shop they told me the radiator had gone bad and needed to be replaced. there were host of other problems at this point to with the ignition the window on the drivers side got jammed. I decided it was to much trouble and decided to move on and sold the car to a local junk yard. before the accident the car did its job well got me where I needed to be outside of the ac and window wipers no problems until the accident.
