I love the color first of all. It is a dark burgundy color. Its really sporty looking. It drives really nice and smooth. The inside interior is really nice too. The air conditioning works great. The only down thing about the car is I can't see to good in the back. It has a tail in the back, that kind of blocks my view, so looking in the rear view window can be a little difficult.
Story
Fun happy story was I went to a local drive thru restaurant, where my son works. He didn't know me when I pulled in. He said wow! Where did you get the nice car.
Pros
The top positive things about the car to me was the appearance. I love the color. It drives nice and smooth. It also has low miles too.
Cons
Only negative thing was the blocking of the rear window. Also the battery is located in the trunk. I never owned a car where the battery was in the trunk.

I like the spontaneous response to the steering wheel and that it has lots of get up and go. It is definitely spunky. The car is set so low to the ground and I have to angle it just right to get it up my driveway. The paint on the exterior is not great. It was sitting under my tree and a piece of bark fell and scratched it. I didn't see it for a while and when I washed it the sap had discolored the paint. It seems to have one coat of paint, as the tiniest thing touching the car shows the prime coat. There is poor visibility when passing, as the blind spot is larger than any car I have had to date. While still under warranty the battery had to be replaced. I have had to replace the battery twice since. The back seats fold down to accommodate longer items in the trunk, but the t... (more)
Story
I purchased a 16 foot Casita camper which is so light they say anything can pull it. Well, my Pontiac is rated to pull...zero! Not so funny, funny. I drive my 1997 Dodge Sport pickup everywhere so my Pontiac only has around 6000 original miles on it.
Pros
Great gas mileage. When using the instant MPG readout, I can adjust my speed for the best fuel economy. I like its get up and go; you can merge with traffic quickly, not sluggish at all. I think the overall look is sporty even though it is a basic vehicle. It has lots of options I had never heard of - monitors your gas and lets you know when it is getting low, tells you how many MPG you are getting at the moment and over time, tells you when a door is ajar, how much air in each tire, etc.
Cons
I dislike how low to the ground it is and how easily it scrapes the ground. The large blind spot is unsafe. Poor paint quality. Size of the trunk and being lied to by the salesman of how deceptive it looks because the seats fold down so it can hold so much more. Trade in value goes down fast. One month after I purchased it brand new, Pontiac went belly up.

This car is the rare 4 door Canadian version of the 2007 Pontiac G5. It is built strong, reliable, and able to handle well in almost any winter condition. It is sporty like the standard 2 door models, but has the versatility of function that you get with a similar car like a Cobalt. I currently have 133,000 miles on it and this little guy keeps on going along.
Story
I live in a northern state and every year the first major snowfall creates interesting results. The first winter I had this car, I was supremely amazed at how well it handled. At the time, I commuted an hour and a half to college, and on that first snowy drive I saw a lot of bigger cars and trucks struggling while I was able to smoothly drive on down.
Pros
Even in the coldest temps this car will start on the first turn of the key. With snow tires it handles itself well in snowy and icy conditions. Very comfortable for road trips that last 6 or more hours. Back seat folds down giving more trunk space. Sporty body. Great gas mileage. Built to last!
Cons
This car does not like hills at all. In winter do not even try going up larger hills. It is a bit of a lighter car, prepare to be pushed around a fair amount in high winds. At 65 or faster it does have a bit of a rattle making it tough to hear conversation or music.
