The Pontiac Torrent has been one of the best vehicles I've ever owned. The build quality is beyond that of what I would consider excellent. I've owned mine since 2009 and made absolutely zero repairs other then general maintenance. We change the oil every 3,000 miles, keep the air filter clean, and the Torrent just keeps going and going with minimal signs of wear. The interior has held up well over the years despite having three kids. Everything still operates properly, including the windows that my kids wore out in less then three years with our old Ford Expedition. I would also like to note I've been utterly most surprised with the build quality. My last Expedition, needed front end parts what seemed like every single year. After 7 years of driving the Torrent and the front end still... (more)
Story
We've used this SUV since day one of purchasing it for everything family related. Every time we go to the park or to Houston we take this vehicle and it has always been a pleasure for me and the family.
Pros
Reliable, high quality parts, sleek interior very comfortable, and gives a very smooth ride
Cons
Could use a little more room compared to other "full size sport utility vehicles."

I got this car as some sort of a 'substitute' car to drive to work while I was between my Ford and my Prius. This car was bought extremely last minute, as my car broke down and I was in desperate need to buy a new one. This car really surprised me, as it was a make that I never really considered or heard of. In the end, it did it's job well and was a great car! I didn't get any problems.
Story
We live near a popular drive in theater, and it was very fun to take this car to go see a movie, because there is plenty of trunk room to sit and watch the movie.
Pros
The pros of this car was that it gets great gas mileage. It is also a very sturdy car in general, and I feel very safe while driving it. I find no problems with the brakes, and when I do brake, it eases into the stop very well. The motor has far less problems than what I've dealt with in other cars.
Cons
The worst thing about this car would have to be the interior. I am not a fan in this regard. First it started with the door handles. Three out of the four interior door handles ended up snapping off over the course of a year. Gradually the upholstery on the seats started to shed. There's also a lot of problems with the radio.

2002 Pontiac Torrent - I think it was my best car, when I can drive it I feel happy.

I like my car seat because it is of the best quality.
Story
If I can reasonably expect that your financial situation will be stable for the length of your loan, then go for it. An added bonus: unlike credit card debt, the interest on your may be.
Pros
This one’s on you: The more you research, the bigger your reward. As you look for the best deal, check out various financial institutions. First, check your primary bank, it might offer discounts to existing customers. Get a quote and compare its rates to those of other lenders. As you shop around, take note of “introductory offers.” These offers are initial rates that will expire at the end of a given term.
Cons
Like my credit card, the is a revolving line of credit. You have a set amount that decreases as you borrow but revolves back to that original amount upon repayment. You also don’t start accruing interest as soon as you open the loan; interest only begins accumulating when you actually borrow the funds. The rates (and just getting approved for this type of loan) are also akin to a credit card: It all hinges on your borrowing history, credit score and financial obligations.
