Used 2006 Pontiac Torrent for Sale

This was my first brand new car I've ever bought, and I think I will do more research next time. It was the first year they made the Pontiac Torrent so I don't think all the kinks were worked out. The body style was very trendy (sporty, smaller SUV) in an apple red color, and that's why I purchased it. The car does have its highlights, such as ample trunk space. However, the brake rotors needed constant resurfacing and the rear wheel bearings needed replacement. I later found this was a fault of the model itself, not just my car. I do think that this car is safe. Thankfully, she's never been in an accident.

I love my Pontiac Torrent. I have had it for 2+ years and it has given me no problems. I have had zero mechanical issues besides basic wear and tear. So far I've only replaced brakes and rotors. The interior is comfortable and roomy. The back seat leaves plenty of leg room for tall adults or long legged children. The back seat fits two large car seats and a small third person in the middle seat which is a huge plus for me. The exterior of the car has a nice look to it. The paint has held up beautifully and it is not covered in plastic bumpers or ugly plastic trim. The trunk is roomy as well and I can fit both of my strollers in there without an issue. My torrent has a 5 disc CD player which works great and sounds great. The sun roof and heated seats are an awesome and pleasant surprise addition. Even with 86,000 miles on it I feel confident and safe that not only will the car perform safely in an accident, but also that it will not break down on me. I look forward to driving this vehicle for many more years. It is my family's go to vehicle for travel due to the spacious interior and reliability.
