This vehicle is likely my favorite of any that I will ever own. I have never had the opportunity to drive such a sporty car, so the way this one feels is incomparable. It's incredibly quiet, and smooth when you accelerate. I bought the car with 94,000 miles on it and it still drives like a brand new car. It's small, but it feels sturdy and I really appreciate that since I'm on the interstate fairly often. The quality of the drive is incredible, especially considering that I make long trips often. It's smooth and powerful. There's not any rattling or excessive noise even at 90 miles per hour. The seats provide support that make the long drive easier and don't give you that "road trip feeling" where you get out of the car and feel like you haven't moved in ages. Aside from performance, t... (more)
Story
My favorite memory of this car was taking my fiancé for a ride in it for the first time. He was so impressed, which is saying a lot as he is very picky when it comes to cars. He lives in the middle of nowhere, with several straight roads that no one drives down. So of course I showed off a good bit. He was speechless at the condition it was in and all the little touches that take it over the t... (more)
Pros
My favorite thing about this vehicle is the sound is makes when you rapidly accelerate. It isn't loud, but it's smooth and powerful. The steering is very tight and it always feels like you're in control. The audio system is original to the car, but it sounds like a professional sound system put in as an upgrade. The look of the car is probably my favorite thing. The vehicle is a few years old, but it still looks modern and sleek and often pore attractive than the latest year models of many cars.
Cons
One thing I dislike about this vehicle is that it is quite small. It's large enough for me most of the time, but there are occasions where it's a real drawback. It's a coupe so tall people (most of my family) are going to have trouble sitting in the back.

The Pontiac G6 GT Convertible on paper looks to be a budget hardtop convertible for the size and class. I purchased the one with the 3.9L V6 engine and the "heavy-duty" transmission (4T65-E). For starters, the fit and finish of the car came a long way from the "classic" GM "Rubbermaid" style interiors. The material choices were of a much higher grade, plastics are softer, vinyl is softer and feels more "leather-like" than the actual leather in the car. Floor mats and carpets are thicker and give a little luxury feel to the car. The fitment between dashboard trim pieces is very precise, so there are little to no visible gaps at all. For the price of the vehicle, some features that are taken as "standard" were not available -- for example, auxiliary audio inputs and GPS navigation were n... (more)
Story
This car managed to get a crowd at the supermarket parking lot when I started taking the top down. Adults and children were quite entertained, to them, it was like a slow Transformer.
Pros
The best features to this car -- hardtop convertible, great stereo system, good fit and finish for the price, quality interior feel.
Cons
Mechanically unreliable, frame flexing after about 4-5 years of ownership.

The Pontiac G6 was an alright vehicle when it came to day to day use, traveling to and from work, the occasional trip, or transporting the dog to the vet (plenty of room in the back seat for when he starts to panic, realizing where we are going). But when it came to heavy use of the vehicle, the GA really started to fall apart in the harsher climate changes of central United States.
Story
Driving to Minneapolis in the summertime with all the windows down, blasting music on the way to a concert.
Pros
My favorite part of the G6 was the comfortable and stylish interior. For a 2006 vehicle it felt like I was driving a brand new car every day. It had plenty of room to haul belongings when traveling, including my dog. The G6 also has an excellent sound system, which is fantastic for long car rides, and the electronic component never wore even after 200000 miles.
Cons
The one thing I did not enjoy about the Pontiac G6 were the numerous recalls I started receiving as soon as I registered my vehicle. This caused me to go out of my way to repair a lot of parts. The G6 was not a fan of harsh winters as well, as the weight of the vehicle made it slide around in snow, causing some damages if you didn't know how to handle it well.
