This vehicle is pretty, with great lines and curves. Unfortunately, those lines and curves add too many blind spots. The rear of the vehicle is raised, making backing up an adventure, as it is impossible to see what is behind you. The wide columns between the windshield and doors look good from the outside, but they can hide an entire oncoming vehicle at the right angle. The V6 engine is powerful. This small car can power through snow drifts, between the engine and the traction control. This performance, however, comes with a price, which is paid at the gas pump. The tire pressure sensors are a nice feature, and have come in handy after driving over numerous potholes hidden by snow. Equipped with On-Star, for those who want to pay for the service.
Story
My favorite was when I told my husband to use my car when it was snowing heavily. He didn't want to because he has a jeep, but the jeep is rear-wheel drive and doesn't do well in snow. We fought about it, and he finally gave in and used my car. When he got home, he sighed and said "OK, You were right. Everyone else I was with got stuck, and I didn't. Happy?" And I really was.
Pros
Pretty- pleasant looking lines and curves Powerful- never gets stuck in the snow Traction control Tire Pressure Sensors On-Star
Cons
Limited visibility- numerous blind spots Heavier fuel consumption than one would expect in a vehicle this size

This was my first vehicle I ever purchased which was financed. I loved the interior look. The rounded vents were super cool for me. The rounded dash meters were also a huge plus. The interior lights are red, and I also found that to be different than any other car I had owned. I dislike how low to the ground this car sits. Driving my sister's van, I realized just how low this car actually sits. It also seems as if I can't see very well out of the front window due to the design of the windshield and the frame around it. I like the factory rims that came on it, and the design of the car is very slick. The traction control is a good thought but doesn't work well in this car. Getting around in the snow is next to impossible with the traction control on, which comes on automatically if it s... (more)
Story
We took my car out on country roads in my rural Nebraska town one time looking for animals for my son's school project. We ended up on a minimum maintenance road that was very washed out and rough. We had to drive less than 5 mph for about 5 miles to get through it.
Pros
One of the best features of this vehicle is the interior design. The red dash lights. The rounded air vents and the gear shift give this car a very nice, modern look. The seats have nice adjustment features which make it easier to raise and lower your seat to your comfort level. I also like the adjustable seat belt. I love that it has an AV hookup so you can listen to music from your phone or iPod in your car. The information that is displayed on the radio is so extremely helpful. I love how it tells you what gas mileage you are getting. It is also helpful when your low tire light comes on... (more)
Cons
There are so many negative things about this vehicle. The tie rod ends went out about a month after owning this vehicle. The local mechanic said that is a common problem for these vehicles. The car shakes badly going down the road now and also makes a terrible sound when you go over even the smallest bump. The heater takes forever to warm up as does the A/C when it's cooling down. It is also very hard to see out of the windshield as the frame around it obstructs your view. It also sits extremely low to the ground and is difficult to get in and out of at times. The traction control function... (more)
