I also drive a Yukon, so this car is very easy to drive and fit through small spots and get to where you're going. Been having trouble with air conditioner and seems like the transmission may go out soon, but this is a 12-year-old car after all. Other than these things, it is a nice little car. It came with the basic stereo system, which works good but the car doesn't have an antenna. Never had one. So the radio stations don't come through very well. The CD player is stuck for some reason, but again, these are all things that have to do with the age of the car, I believe. There was a recall for the steering column, but this was replaced for free by the company. Lots of room in this car for front and black seat. My husband is 6'3", and he is able to move the driver seat back and still h... (more)
Story
Going for a long drive on the back roads and around town. Have not taken out of town just yet. First drive was great. This is first vehicle I've had in a while, and it's paid off. After driving a Yukon, it's easier to maneuver.
Pros
Big trunk. Lots of room in car. Gets around fast. Nice sunroof. Recalls fixed by company. Fits in small spaces.
Cons
A few recalls. Air conditioner problems. CD player went out. Some rust on hood after hail damage. Gets really hot inside. Terrible gas mileage.

A low slung 4 door sedan perfect for highway cruising, meant to be a competitor to BMW and Audi. I thought it succeeded. Other's didn't. And now Pontiac doesn't exist anymore.
Story
I got it stuck in wet sand on the beach. Don't drive low slung cars on low profile tires too close to the water.
Pros
This car had the most comfortable seats of any car I've ever driven. Ventilated leather, 15 way adjustable, heated seats. I took it 180 miles round trip from Corpus Christi to San Antonio and back and never had any back aches afterward. Movable pedals! They don't seem like a big deal, but you can adjust them to make that perfect driving scenario. Monsoon sound system - 12 speakers, crystal clarity, very loud. Engine had more than ample power to be able to pass anyone on the highway. Trunk is large enough to fit a large cooler and 8 to 10 bags of groceries.
Cons
GM build quality. Plastics on the dash were a bit rubbery. Shifter grip felt gummy. Clear coat had completely faded on hood/roof/trunk, which gave the car an unintended racing stripe. Fuel economy - I was getting about 18 MPG which isn't great for a V6 of the past 20 years. The car is on 18" rims, from the factory, which means low profile tires. If you are in an area that doesn't maintain its roads decently, you'll be replacing a tire every 3 months or so.
