I also drive a Yukon, so this car is very easy to drive and fit through small spots and get to where you're going. Been having trouble with air conditioner and seems like the transmission may go out soon, but this is a 12-year-old car after all. Other than these things, it is a nice little car. It came with the basic stereo system, which works good but the car doesn't have an antenna. Never had one. So the radio stations don't come through very well. The CD player is stuck for some reason, but again, these are all things that have to do with the age of the car, I believe. There was a recall for the steering column, but this was replaced for free by the company. Lots of room in this car for front and black seat. My husband is 6'3", and he is able to move the driver seat back and still h... (more)
Story
Going for a long drive on the back roads and around town. Have not taken out of town just yet. First drive was great. This is first vehicle I've had in a while, and it's paid off. After driving a Yukon, it's easier to maneuver.
Pros
Big trunk. Lots of room in car. Gets around fast. Nice sunroof. Recalls fixed by company. Fits in small spaces.
Cons
A few recalls. Air conditioner problems. CD player went out. Some rust on hood after hail damage. Gets really hot inside. Terrible gas mileage.

The 2005 Pontiac G6 GT is one of the best vehicles I've had the pleasure of driving. This was my second vehicle, and going from a Ford Escort to the Pontiac G6 was night and day! This car drives like a sporty, fun dream. My model had the lovely V-6 engine, which made me feel powerful on the road. The over-sized interior was so roomy, I took it on a 4 hour road trip. Between the 6 disc CD changer and sporty tiered sunroof, I highly recommend this car even today!
Story
My favorite memory is driving this car out of town for my wedding anniversary. We decided at the last minute to forego renting a vehicle like we normally would, and we just filled up my tank and took off. The ride was really comfortable and smooth. I never regretted taking it out of town one bit.
Pros
The best features are the V-6 engine, sic-disc CD changer, low-profile body (makes for a smooth ride and soft turns), the tiered sunroof - one of the best sunroofs I have experienced, great gas mileage, comfortable and over-sized fabric seats, sleek interior dashboard, quiet engine, auto start engine, and very nice audio system.
Cons
No auto shut off - in the event I needed to turn the vehicle back off after auto-starting.
