A solid midsize car.
The Saturn Acura that I bought was actually pretty solid. I was a little worried about buying a Saturn (I hadn't always heard stellar things about them) but I was very pleased with the vehicle I ended up with. It gets reasonable gas mileage and has some nice optional features that I appreciate. Mostly, I just like the reliability. I've had the car for 3 years now and have had hardly any mechanical problems at all. Any of the minor problems I have had were really easy (and inexpensive) to fix, which was really nice. Overall, it works really well for my purposes.

Unreliable/noisy
I liked the sleek look of the car upon purchase. It was a specialty package with Moroccan brown leather interior and many extras. The seats were heated and very satisfying in the winter because of the speed that they heated the seat. The car had many rattles and squeaks in it. When the weather would be cold out, the belts would squeak extremely loud at first, until the car was in motion, and warmed up. The car battery has been replaced 3 times since 2007 which I thought was unreasonable. There were parts of the cloth interior that would fall off a few months after the car was purchased, and they had to be re-glued, but fortunately it was covered on the warranty. Currently, the transmission is starting to slip and is failing without even having 75,000 miles on the car. The leather on the seats wore out quickly. The power sunroof and seats were a definite plus, but were not enough to make up for the other shortcomings of the vehicle. There would often be sensor malfunctions including, service engine lights, low tire pressure, traction assist, and service airbag lights. These were all due to sensor malfunction.

Mostly indifferent
I purchased this vehicle from my mother. The car runs well enough, even after about 200,000 miles on it. It hasn't not broken down in the time period that my mother or myself have owned the car. The only issues with it have been some minor electrical problems with the tail lights.
