2008 Saturn Aura - Great fuel economy with decent power and storage capacity

I love having a hatchback - I can fit almost anything in my car. 90% of the time my mountain bike is in the back so the folding rear seats were a life saver. The car has decent power and great fuel economy regardless of the load size. Overall build quality is great. With 100k+ miles everything still works great and has minimal rattles.
Story
Every day that I make my bike to the local trails! It's nice to be able to throw it in the back of my car and make a stop by the grocery store or meet friends for dinner and not have to worry about my possessions.
Pros
My favorite features of the vehicle are the hatchback, automatic windows, and dash/information display. The dash provides a lot of information without being cluttered or overwhelming. I like being able to see my average speed, MPG, and miles remaining on the current fuel level.
Cons
With the A/C running, the car lacks power. Paint on the roof began to show signs of rust too early. The mirror cover in the driver's side visor broke off for literally no reason one day (my guess is that it got brittle from going cold-hot through the seasons).

I absolutely love my Saturn Aura. I just hit 100k miles a few weeks ago and it is still going strong with no major problems. I would definitely purchase again, but am saddened by the fact that GM no longer makes Saturns!
Story
I love driving it to the lake on weekends - it is such a smooth riding vehicle - despite high gas prices, it is really a joy to drive!
Pros
Rides Well. Good gas mileage. Large trunk capacity. Great factory sound system. Very comfortable leather seats. Very reliable. No major problems.
Cons
Had to be recalled for shift lever indicator. Power lock relays don't work any more on 3 out of 4 doors. You have to manually lock/unlock the doors. There is an incessant clunking sound that comes from the front end, it has been that way since at least 50k mile mark. Most forums that I have read say there is nothing that can be done. It only occurs when you go over bumpy roads - almost like a suspension issue? I just end up turning the radio up load and ignoring it since it has never posed a safety hazard.

This car is a great mid/small hatchback that gets equally impressive mileage. It is very comfortable for both long and short trips and has been very dependable with only routine maintenance and responsible ownership. The amount of power is more than enough in most situations, however while using the air conditioning it is somewhat lacking. The interior is very high quality, with a great instrument panel. I love the LCD panel that provides all of the information one could want about their vehicle: current and average MPG, range left in the gas tank, temperature, etc. The car handles extremely well and is great fun on winding roads or for fun driving in general. One of my favorite things about this car is the rear folding seats which allow me to put my full-suspension 27.5" wheeled mount... (more)
Story
Every day when I load my bike into the back and head out to the trails to ride with my buddies.
Pros
Fuel mileage. Storage space. Fun to drive. Very reliable.
Cons
Insufficient power when the A/C is running. Some interior rattles (@ 102,000 miles).
