I have owned this car for about 7 years now and have only had to replace the basics. I think I have gone through a set of brakes, a few batteries, and just one set of tires. The car gives good gas mileage; it doesn't take a lot to fill up the gas tank. I like the interior. I have brown leather and it is fairly easy to clean. I have a few scratches that developed over time on the outside, but I have been able to get most of them out with store bought scratch remover. I like that it still looks newer even thought it is an older car to some. I have a nice amount of trunk space. Since having a daughter we go on trips at times and I have enough room for her toys as well as our clothes. Since the car is GM based I have not had a problem with replacing parts and things like that.
Story
This is memorable, getting stuck in my driveway in the winter time.
Pros
Look of the car, stylish yet affordable. I like that leather interior it is a 2 tone brownish color. It is easy to clean. Gas mileage is pretty good both in city and on the highway. Nice trunk space. Easy to find parts like battery and tires since it is not a foreign car. It is fairly easy to find someone to work on the car at a reasonable rate given that it was under General Motors.
Cons
Rust developed on the back of the vehicle. This is probably my fault but a sucker melted in a portion of the cup holder and I have been unable to get the residue out, wish the material was different so that I could get that out easier. Have had problems with the radio going in and out along with the visuals.

As with most old cars, the air conditioning may need a boost every once in a while. I just get the refill canisters from the auto store and do the refill myself. For a while, I did seem to have some leaks in the coolant and oil reservoirs. Stop leak coolant from the auto store did the trick for the first issue. For the second issue, I needed to buy a new gasket/plug that fit the oil release better. Since then, the car has been great. I don't like that I cannot replace the headlights myself without having to go to the dealership, since you technically have to take the number off to replace. My dad is an engineer and was able to do this for me most the time, but sometimes I had to pay to have the dealership to do this if I was traveling.
Story
People think my car is a chameleon since it kind of changes colors in the light. Sometimes it looks more blue, and other times more grey. People think it is too fancy to be a Saturn.
Pros
Great gas mileage in the city and on the highway. Not many complaints at all. Great cruise control and access to OnStar. I also love that there is a built-in aux port on the original stereo. Also dash screen is great for troubleshooting issues with oil and tire psi.
Cons
I have the lighter color satin seats which can be a bit unforgiving for stains. I wasn't a fan of the original tire rims so I replaced those. I've also had to replace the electronic lock mechanisms a few times, but I live in Houston so the humidity may have something to do with that.
