I really like the reliability that my car has provided me. The car is really well made and has been able to keep up with my rough driving habits. I have had this car for about seven years and have put around 130,000 miles on it, and it still runs very well. It has taken me road trips across the country with up to four other people comfortably. Even with 150,000 plus miles on the vehicle, it has definitely not degraded in driving quality. With regular maintenance and care, the car has outperformed my expectations, and I hope that it will continue to do so. I really like the spaciousness that the interior of the car affords and the size of the trunk to haul things for long road trips. I am able to permanently keep two foldable lawn chairs in the trunk at all time and still have room for ... (more)
Story
I used the car to work for Lyft one weekend, and I picked up a couple of passengers who were ecstatic with how large the interior was even though the car does not look large from the outside. They called the car comparable to the Tardis from the television show Dr. Who. This made me laugh pretty hard, since they were enamored with the car for this one fact.
Pros
The best thing about this car is the reliability that it provides me. I know that—even though I have had the car for seven years—it is going to start right up every time I get into the vehicle. The spaciousness that the car has with the well-designed driver and passenger seat having an indentation allows for the backseat passengers to have enough leg room while still affording the front passengers plenty of room. Even with all of this space that the car has inside, the car does not feel overly large or "boat-like."
Cons
The brakes and rotors seem to wear out extremely quickly, potentially due to an issue with the cars computer applying too much pressure. Although I perform regular maintenance, it is a bit difficult to do to the maintenance because of the car design. Unfortunately, in order to replace a headlight, you must remove both of the front tires and remove the wheel well to unscrew a bolt to loosen the headlamp housing. This causes changing a headlight to take an extremely long time. The only other thing that I can say is a bit concerning or troublesome is the transmission feeling like it may downs... (more)

The Saturn Aura has a very nice build to it. It gave off the "luxury look" with a very affordable price. When it comes to the look, I like more the rear end of the car as opposed to the front end. The interior is well done as well, very comfortable and spacious. I owned a V6, so the power of the engine takes off quickly, handling turns and bumps very well. I had several road trips with it, and it was a smooth ride all the time. It drives very well on highways as well. However, I had issues with the steering wheel. Sometimes it becomes really stiff. After taking it to the mechanic, I found out that there was a problem related to the rack and pinion. It was leaking. But instead of changing the parts that were leaking, we had to take out the whole rack and pinion, which is not the way rac... (more)
Story
The smooth ride in general. I had to drive from Kansas City to Atlanta with most of my belongings in the car and was afraid that it wouldn't be comfortable and that I would have issues, but it was a smooth ride.
Pros
The way the car was built gave off a luxury car look. (Mine was a silver one , which enhances the beauty of the car) . The fit and finish are very good. The interior styling was very satisfying as well. Very comfortable and easy to maintain.
Cons
The rack and pinion issue. Now that I have heard few people had the same issue, I conclude that it`s an issue that GM had when building the car. Emergency brake on the floor. It was quite difficult for friends who borrowed the car to find it. Fuel economy, though I knew that I was getting a 6CL, so I should have expected to spend more gas but that was still one thing I did not like about it. When you have your windows down, you could really hear the engine roaring . That was something that I didn't really like much since I enjoy quiet ride. There is no armrest in the back seat, which mak... (more)
