This car was bought used, and it hasn't disappointed. It has already lasted me three years and doesn't show any signs of dying any time soon. It gets decent gas mileage, around 25 miles to the gallon. It gets me from point A to point B very effectively.
Story
The vehicle has a high acceleration and top speed, so when driving with friends safely, it can be very fun to drive.
Pros
It has very good acceleration. It can go a long distance reliably. It has a stylish exterior.
Cons
Occasionally, after heavy use, the service light may come on but goes off. At times it isn't the most comfortable interior.

The Saturn L300 is a decent car for the money. The styling of the car was just okay, in 2005 it was good looking but compared to cars out these days, it lacks a lot. It was a mostly comfortable car, nothing special, but there was plenty of legroom and plenty of seating for five. There was also plenty of room in the trunk also. There were no big blind spots, just the standard you would expect. I had the car for several years, and the good thing was that it never really needed major repairs, even though it felt like it was always on the brink of breaking down. It would require multiple small repairs that really didn't hinder the car's ability or stay in the shop too long. It had a busted cv joint, and the turn signal stopped working, and there were a few electrical problems, but otherwis... (more)
Story
When I thought the car was on its last leg, my buddies and I took it out on the highway and just tried to kill the car, taking it to redline and stopping fast and doing burnouts in the parking lot. The car just kept on taking a beating and was no worse for wear in the end.
Pros
The car did not require any major maintenance, and the mileage and performance was not terrible, which was a positive in my mind. The styling was unique and the car is not very common, so it was kind of rare in that aspect. The performance was nothing special, but it was good value for the money. I really liked the climate controls and sound system in the car.
Cons
There were random squeaks that I could never figure out, and there was a lot of road noise and random car noises as you got to highway speed. Otherwise there was nothing actually really terrible about the car, it was just very average in performance and handling.
