My Subaru Forester is such a great car. As a person who enjoys outdoor activities (hiking, canoeing, etc.) It's a great choice. While the cargo space is not huge, it is more than roomy enough to hold backpacks, coolers, or my dog. It's also great for hauling groceries. The mat makes it easy to clean if the adventures get a little messy. The AWD is perfectly capable of handling what little off road driving I do. The suspension also allows for a smooth ride. The gas mileage is respectable, especially on the highway. I have averaged as high as 31 mpg on the highway. I've had no mechanical problems so far and maintenance costs are reasonable.
Story
The Subaru was great to drive when my family went to the lake. The cargo space easily held our backpacks, swimming gear, and the dog. We were also able to easily attach our canoe to the roof. The Subaru easily got us down the old dirt road to the lake. When I needed to clean out the mud from my dog's paws, I could easily remove the mat and the cargo space and rinse it off.
Pros
1. I love the sporty look and feel and the visibility the crossover body style provides. 2. I love all the space in the cargo area. 3. I love the dependability of the car in all types of weather and on a variety of road conditions.
Cons
1. The car is just slightly under powered. It gets me where I need to go, but it doesn't do it particularly quickly.

The 2010 Subaru Forester is a wonderful car. I have owned it for 7 years and have had no trouble out of it at all. The car has been with me through many aspects of my life, and it means a lot to me. I really love the car.
Story
One time we went on a skiing trip with 5 friends. we were able to get all of our gear in the car and on top and easily climb a snow covered mountain road.
Pros
It has plenty of space for my large frame and loads of room in all of it's seats. The car has a lot of cargo space for it's size as well. One of my favorite things is the large moon roof. The All wheel drive system has proven to be one of the best I have ever driven. It has climbed snow covered mountain roads and has driven on beaches. It has never let me down.
Cons
The only downside to the car is the fuel economy. It was great for it's day, but now it's below average for it's class. Any roof racks that you have in addition to the standard one also decrease the fuel economy. The cold weather also decreases the fuel economy.

Mount Jefferson Motors made buying a vehicle enjoyable. When I arrived, the sales personnel were friendly and polite. They let me take my time to look at the vehicles I was interested in and did not try to push or hassle me into buying a car that I wasn't sure about. When I had decided and it was time to talk about price, Mount Jefferson Motors was upfront about their pricing and helped me to avoid an uncomfortable haggling experience. Mount Jefferson Motors took care of everything as far as credit approval and warranties go. I could not be happier with my car buying experience.

Proximity, not many choices for Subaru dealerships nearby. Ultimately they weren't so great. The service department is slow and sucks and it's impossible to get an appointment in a reasonable amount of time. The waiting area is terrible and they, like all dealerships, overcharge for literally everything.
