2005 Suzuki Forenza - Quite dependable but when it's down, the parts are hard to come by.

I've had this car since 2010. The interior and storage is basic and all for door handles were broken by the previous owner then glued back on at the dealership. As of now, I have only two working handles. The passenger side window must be rolled down in order for one to open the door. After seven years, the lug nuts snapped in half when replacing the tires back after fixing the breaks. The auto shop only had one set of four and none for the back tires. So, I'm not driving to car right now because I searched for these lug nuts online and at numerous locations and they aren't available.
Story
Traffic in 90 degrees in WV. We were under the open sun, but I remember the cooling system was a life saver. We still laugh about that now due to some of the people around us sweating like hogs.
Pros
Still is running good after seven years. It can easily fit three car seats. Trunk space is optimal for such a small car. I can fill the tank with $20 and make a 30 minute commute for five days and still won't be on E by the weekend. Exterior hasn't rusted through six Ohio winters. On aesthetics alone the vehicle is attractive and simple. A good option for a first car.
Cons
The hood latch is broken too, due to the cold temps and opening the hood. Not much room for road trips. Not quite big enough for a taller individual but a great car for a learning driver. I also feel safe in this vehicle. Has an alarm system and remote locks. I travel alone a lot. The fact that if I remote unlock the car, let's say in a dark parking lot, it will only unlock my driver side door after one push and all with two. This is a safety feature for me, because someone wouldn't be able to approach my car from the passenger side.

At first, my vehicle was great. I was 19 and it was practically brand new. I loved that it felt small but was very roomy. I liked that there were radio controls on the steering wheel. I disliked that there was no cruise control. Eventually, over time the car kept needing to be fixed, for a lot of the same issues. Overheating in particular. We had the radiator replaced, new hoses etc and nothing seemed to help.
Story
Going to the drive in with my friends.
Pros
Radio controls on the steering wheel Easy to drive Roomy Good gas mileage
Cons
No cruise control Engine issues Over heating
