2006 Suzuki XL7 -
I have had my 2006 XL-7 for a month now, it is one solid SUV. I took a trip to Key West with a family of four and was very comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet it rides. The interior with the woodgrain makes it look more expensive than what it is. I bought the five-passenger model because I liked and wanted all the storage space. It's amazing how much it will hold. I have had numerous compliments on how nice it looks. I'm loving mine. It feels big yet is very responsive and easy to park in the city. It pulled my boat with plenty of power to spare. I love the fit and finish.
Story
It doesn't really have the "get up and go" when taking off, like I thought it would.
Pros
Have owned since 2003, changed spark plugs once, changed the oil and have done brakes, shocks, struts and tires as needed. It keeps going down the road. Currently have an air conditioner problem that isn't fixed yet (know what the problem is) and recently had to replace an oxygen sensor on the engine. That's been it. Have 176,000 miles on it. It is tough on tires, but if that's all I have to replace and everything else keeps purring along, I'm a happy camper. A great vehicle -- sad day when Suzuki pulled its cars out of the U.S. Never gave me any problems. Maybe because I keep it up on oil... (more)
Cons
The only complaints I would have would be the fuel mileage (of course), was told when I bought it that I would get 22-24 hwy, but only get about 18. Other complaint is that it doesn't really have the "get up and go" when taking off, like I thought it would.
2006 Suzuki XL7 - Great Car
Good looking car.
Gas mileage could be better gets around 24 on the highway.
Has not required any trips to the shop.
The heated seats are great in the winter.
The 3rd row seat could only be comfortably used by a small child.
The 4 wheel drive button is wonderful on snow or ice.

Took it on a very long road trip was great.
