My truck came with the bigger engine, so I was able to haul equipment, tools, and a trailer. Having air conditioning in Florida was a must, and this truck blasted cold air. The truck came with a manufacturer topper, so things in the bed did not get wet or exposed to the elements. It had an extended cab so five people fit in it comfortably. The suspension was good for heavy loads, but was smooth riding on trips like vacations. The heat and defroster turned out to work great in the winter as apposed to the air conditioning in Florida. The automatic transmission made it enjoyable to drive, and worked fine in the mountains. Using the lower gears made coming down a mountain easy.
Story
Getting stuck on top of a mountain in a rut. Had to dig out the truck in order to get it going again. This was an example of not having four wheel drive.
Pros
Factory bed topper. Air conditioning. Bigger engine which I needed for work.
Cons
It was not four wheel drive. I would have liked to have a CD player instead of a cassette player/radio only. The tires on it were good, but would have preferred all terrain tires for better traction in sand.

I didn't like the cars radio, the air conditioning didn't work very well. There were not enough cup holders or space in the front seat, the door handles broke off to easily in the cold & it's very hard to defrost in the winter.
Story
Getting spun around on an ice patch when it snowed on Christmas.
Pros
I was a car, it got somewhat good gas mileage.
Cons
no radio, bad air conditioner, broken handles, broken Pernell stick.

The T100 is everything one would expect a pickup truck to be, and very little else. It is a high quality machine that has survived nearly 200,000 miles so far. The interior is sparse, with ample leg room in the front and plenty of storage space under and beside the rear seats. The back seats are great for small children but will be cramped for anyone else. The basic gray interior lends itself to easy cleaning, a necessity in a working truck. On the outside, the bright red paint with a white stripe ensures visibility and is appealing to look at. The truck is loud at highway speeds, but offers lines of sight above other cars and feels reassuring to drive. The abundance of windows in the cab meant virtually no blind spots. Toyota's engine performed exceptionally well, requiring only reg... (more)
Story
I was able to pull several cars out of mud or snow over the course of my ownership. While not built for towing, it can certainly do in a pinch.
Pros
-Plenty of storage compartments in the cab -4-wheel drive settings are great for occasional use in snow or dirt/mud
Cons
-Gas mileage grew to be a burden as gas prices increased
