It was spacious - 4-doors with plenty of leg space and trunk room. The A/C would quickly bring down the temperature on very hot summer days, especially when the car was filled with friends for an outing. The power windows for all four doors were pleasant options for clear days and fresh air.
Story
One memorable story was when I was driving in a snow storm in Colorado. I was on my way back from the library to my house, and over 8 inches of snow already piled on to the ground. As I slowed at a red light of an intersection, my car immediately began to slide because of the packed snow and heavy winds pushing from the left side. The factors together ended up spinning my car 180 degrees, b... (more)
Pros
The use for unleaded fuel was valuable to me (rather than the need for premium-grade) when I used it for several years in the heart of Chicago. Overall prices of gasoline were always held to a high value, but the unleaded-grade was always affordable with this car. In addition, I found the mileage to be satisfactory; 22 mpg for my car kept me more than happy as I used it to travel to work and school from the inner city to the north side of town (around 11 miles). Lastly, I seldom ever needed to bring it to the shop for repairs or maintenance. The Toyota engine was very respected by the s... (more)
Cons
Based off my experience with my vehicle, I found the gauge readings to become less accurate over time. The fuel gauge reading became less dependable after 3 years, showing the fuel level to be at only 90% after filling to capacity, or showing to be below 0% when I may have 2 gallons left. Two of the vents on the dashboard were no longer able to stay in a rigid position and always sunk down towards the ground. This caused me to keep them in place by wedging folded paper in between the vent and the dashboard. The interior was not constructed with leather, but rather a kind of mid-grade s... (more)

This car was a purchase out of the need to get into a new car... One with power windows, and locks and that ran. I had an older Corolla that had gotten me through high school and beyond into my early college days, but this one had been put through the ringer. It had been taken across the country, up mountain roads so in all honesty, I guess it had served its purpose, but I was fed up with it. The car was getting feisty. It wouldn't start frequently, interior was bad so I needed a new car. I went to the Toyota dealership in hope of getting a new(er) car for a reasonable payment. But I didn't think they would actually sell me into a NEW car. The smell was perfect, the interior was lovely and guess what... This car also had power everything! So I was sold. It has been almost a year in th... (more)
Story
I am one for pushing the boundaries of how my cars perform, so I tried taking in in the snow for a little drifting and have never done so in a car that has ABS. When I first tried to pull the E-brake to go through a corner, the cars ABS came on and redirected my drift. I have never been so disappointed that my car was so safe and efficient, but I learned to love it and truly use it. That and I... (more)
Pros
Pros: MPG, Interior, Ride, Performance, Engine sound, Cabin space, rear seat leg room, color selection, and many different trim options of the sport model, paddle shifts and the ability to turn off my traction control fully, and the list goes on and on.
Cons
Cons: Only one door with a key hole, not even the trunk has a key hole, Expensive batteries for the keys, and the payment.

I graduated from college and I decided to buy a car for my new job. My parents drove a Camry and I always thought that the Camry was reliable but I decided to go with the cheaper and cost-effective Corolla. It wasn't big as Camry but it's not smaller than other cheaper options like the sonic. The best thing about the car is the gas mileage. The mileage is about 34 mpg which makes it such an economical car. Also I loved the ease of the steering wheel. It turns easy and feels smooth. The audio that comes out of the sound system is great and the blue tooth is a nice addition for touch-less phone systems. The car is also generally very reliable. I have no issues since the day I bought it and the Toyota care was a great addition when buying the car as well. It allowed two years of free oil... (more)

I remember driving with this car to Maine in fall and I remember the foliage I drove through was one of the most beautiful thing I witness in my life.
Pros

I have no issues since the day I bought it and the Toyota care was a great addition when buying the car as well. It allowed two years of free oil changes and tire rotation. I also loved the amount of turn radius. It's good for tight turns a... (more)
Cons
The cons about the car is the leg room and no four wheel drive. The leg room is tight and can be uncomfortable for long people, It also would have been nice to have all wheel drive although Toyota sedans generally don't have this option but I may get my next car with 4wd. It also doesn't have enough horsepower compared to other compact sedans.
