What can I say? This car is actually the perfect car for all those looking for a consistent, balanced, and affordable commuter vehicle. The car does everything that can be asked of it from long road trips, to everyday work commutes.
Story
Just all long commutes home sitting in my car comfortably listening to music.
Pros
The car is incredibly inexpensive and provides a multitude of models suitable for all consumers. Personally, I went with the L (standard), and it has been everything I could've asked for. As someone who commutes a lot (live in LA family in San Francisco), I can promise that it is optimal in terms of gas efficiency and comfort that all consumers desire. Not to mention I bought it brand new for a mere $17,000.
Cons
As with almost every car, there are some areas where I wish it could be a little bit better. My specific model, unfortunately, does not come with a cruise control function, which has resulted in a lot of foot cramps during those long rides where you just want to grind through. Another area where my specific model suffers is in the acceleration field where at times I feel I am behind the mark (previously owned a mustang so its understandable). All these issues are easy answered, however, with the more expensive Corolla S model which goes for about $21,000.
