The car is a 2003 model but I really enjoy driving it. It picks up speed very nicely and its extremely fuel efficient. I liked the color of the car, the fact that it has a sunroof and the wooden trim inside the car on its dashboard. The trim gives a different vibe that I normally don't get in cars - makes it feel more expensive than it actually was. I dislike how it's not very tech-savvy.
Story
I think the best time in the car was the trip to Ohio. It gave my brother and I time to bond after being apart for years because of college.
Pros
The pros of the vehicle would definitely be the gas mileage. I drove this car from GA to OH once and I only had to fill up twice on my way there and that is with the AC blasting. I also like the color but then again I'm a sucker for blue.
Cons
The main thing I didn't like about the car was the inside dashboard. It had a cassette player and no aux input. The way I could listen to music was by buying a cassette that has a 3.5 Mm jack for my mp3 and phone so that I could connect my music that way.

This Corolla is a great little car. We purchased it used (2 years old) with ~29K miles on it. We drove it before we had kids, after we had kids, and I' still driving it today. 10 Years later, with 160K miles on it. Although it is now obviously older, it still looks good, gets me where I'm going, and requires almost zero maintenance. I would buy this car again for my kids.
Story
Drove it in the mountains during a blizzard. Still got us home safe and sound.
Pros
This car just keeps on going. I get the oil changed about 1-2 times a year and haven't had much expense in maintaining it. The tires have been the most expensive cost to date. Good trunk space which is essential as I lug my golf clubs and golf cart everywhere I go (just in case a golfing opportunity pops up). Compact, so parking is never an issue. Gas mileage is phenomenal.
Cons
Some negatives are due to the age/mileage: it runs loud now and the interior and exterior are becoming shabby - but this was NOT an issue the first few years we had it. It's not fast - I get passed all the time.

2003 Toyota Corolla - Reliable car.

I have had this car for 11 years, and it is the most reliable car I have ever had. The most work I've had done to it is replacing the front struts. It gets great gas mileage, and I don't have to worry about it being a gas guzzler. Maintenance has been pretty cheap so far, and my mechanic never has any issue finding parts if the car needs something replaced. I have taken the car through different weather and terrain, and I have never had any issues. It has done well going over mountain passes when it is snowing heavily.
Story
I have a lot of fun memories with this car driving my friends around town as we went shopping or out to eat. There's been a lot of jokes and laughter in the car that will stay with me for a long time. The first and only time I have been pulled over was a few weeks ago, and I had a few friends in the car. The officer asked for my license, and I was looking through my purse for it, but couldn't ... (more)
Pros
I love the gas mileage it gets. I like how reliable the car is. I feel safe when I am driving. I also like how the car has a sensor that turns the lights on automatically when it's dark in case I forget to do it. The car handles well in snow, and I always feel confident that it can safely get me where I am going.
Cons
The car is not the flashiest. I feel like they didn't put a whole lot of thought into the design of the car because it is generic looking. The car also doesn't ride as smooth as I would like. It does not have power windows or locks. I also don't like how you can't customize the speed of the windshield wipers. You have to use the preset speeds, and it seems like they are not set apart very well.
