Great performance vehicle with high maintenance
Overall, this is great vehicle. I became interested in BMW and other German brands when I lived in Europe and opted to get one when I came back to the States. I eventually decided that BMW was superior in ride quality and overall experience to Mercedes and made my choice because I like the spacey interior of the 7 series, as well as the engine options. The ride is very smooth, the handling really does feel sporty, and the acceleration is fantastic. The interior of this vehicle is very well made, with everything feeling solid. Here's a standout of these cars — stand next to the car and open the door all the way, then firmly push it closed. Let the door swing freely and listen to the sound it makes. That sound tells you a lot about quality. On a BMW, it sounds firm and full. It says a lot about how the vehicles are designed and made. Infotainment on BMWs is pretty good; I wouldn't consider it a plus or a minus on their vehicles. I like the fact that you can get this car in AWD and a larger 4.4L turbo. Even though we don't have many chances to really let one of these German beasts loose on US highways, it's still a satisfying ride. The mileage could be better for sure, but I imagine that's not a key concern when you're looking for a luxury car.

My Luxury Car
I like the look of this car. It has a long hood and it is low and wide. It has a lot of very fun features. It has self parking, a cool remote and massaging seats with a footrest in the back. The front seats are massaging and heated or cooled. Its control center is easy to use and controls everything from seat position to the temperature to the internet. It provides a really smooth quiet drive. I find the car turns easily, for instance if you are trying to do a U turn, the turning radius is small. I find the cruise control is pretty useful and the speed limit information has saved me a few times. The blind spot information is also really useful. It has a weird feature that I haven't conquered yet, which is the movement control. By moving your hand you should be able to answer the phone or change the volume, but I have trouble with it.
