Very comfortable, but hard to see out the back, when driving in reverse.
The Buick Lucerne is the first Lucerne I have ever owned. The car has a Cadillac frame, and is very comfortable to ride in. It has a nice looking style to it, and I like the little scoops on each side of the car. It is a nice looking automobile.

Enjoy the little luxuries, dislike the mpg
My husband and I bought this car used for our second vehicle shortly after our child was born. It fit our car seat nicely and we were captivated by the little luxuries: heated seats; separate temperature controls for driver and front passenger; air vents for the backseat in the front seat partition (which has been great since our kid is now forward-facing). One thing I particularly enjoyed was the ability to record two driver seat settings (mirror and wheel placement, how far forward the seat is, where the seat back is, where the lumbar support is, etc.), So we don't need to fiddle with everything every time we switch drivers. The seats are comfortable and I really appreciate the digital warnings, which are more than just little lights but full phrases (i.e. ENGINE OIL LOW). However, this car ended up being our primary vehicle when our first car stopped working about two months after our purchase. This is when we really felt the relatively low MPG of this car; I commuted 2 hours a day, so we were eating through gas. It's not the worst MPG out there, certainly, but it was lower than any of the other cars we looked at. Although I really do enjoy the little luxuries, had I known this car would end up being our primary vehicle I would have chosen something with a little less comfort and more MPG. The car also sits a little lower than other sedans I've driven and has an even lower plastic band in the front, which constantly scrapes the ground when backing out of our steep driveway. That said, this car has held up very nicely to the daily grind; the mileage is nearing 120,000 and I literally just started having trouble with one of the back windows!
