2006 Cadillac CTS - Wish I owned another car!
I bought this from my parents in Texas. They sang the Caddie praises, so I bought and drove it to Michigan I loved it. It performed great on the highway, and I was anxious to get it home. I got all sorts of complements from strangers and colleagues alike. The cream-colored CTS is a beautiful car. Then winter came and the car and my attitude about it changed.

Memorable story. The winter before last was the worst! Finally, it began to thaw, and my 18 year old son couldn't take it any more--he wanted to get the Caddy out of the garage. So he backed it out into the gravel drive and it so got stuck! The more he tried, the more the tires just spun. We tried a good hour to get it unstuck. Finally, my husband came home. He was furious that the car was stuck. My husband is a small man, not at all athletic. He was so mad that he lifted the car out of the rut and shoved it back into the garage. It never came back out til June!
My favorite features on the CTS were the leather seats, satellite radio, hands free and the voice-activated phone. It is a luxury car and it handles like one when I'm able to drive it.

And that's the thing--being able to drive it. The CTS is rear-wheeled drive, which means, in Michigan, it sits in the garage for about four months out of the year. It's light weight and has no traction, so yeah, it's in storage from December to March. Then I got a recall notice saying to have the ignition replaced or, barring that, take the key off the ring because any weight on the key will make it FALL OUT OF THE IGNITION. Kinda scary. Then, to top it off, whenever we use the windshield wipers, the foamy washer fluid shoots out. Try dealing with that in a thunderstorm on I-94!

2010 Cadillac CTS - Great Car for the city
I really enjoy this vehicle! Not only is it sleek and stylish but it runs great in urban and metro areas. Parking spaces can be difficult to find in a downtown area, but the turning radius on the wheel makes it a breeze. Occasionally, the car rattles. This is either from the dashboard area or the trunk. The car performs great and I love driving it! It is extremely roomy and can accommodate up to four or five people comfortably.

My fiancé and myself have driven across the country multiple times in this car, we try to stop at every landmark we can. Our relationship and memories are what and where they are today because of this vehicle. I also got angry with him one time and made him sleep in the car. He said he slept great!

Pros for this vehicle are that it's extremely stylish. The look of the vehicle itself is modern and sexy. I have driven this car across the country multiple times and have had very few problems.

Cons to this vehicle is that there is no Bluetooth capabilities. The doors are quite heavy as well.

2009 Cadillac CTS - Beautiful outside, finicky inside
Let me start out by saying this is a beautiful car. I get compliments all the time on it. The body style is great, the interior is decadent, and the amenities are fantastic. I love the analog clock, heated seats, multiple USB ports, and ability to record CDs to the cars hard drive. The car is spacious enough to accommodate my family of four. There is plenty of trunk space, and the middle seat in back folds down so that my kids hockey sticks can slide right through from trunk allowing the trunk to securing close and lock (no sticks hanging out of windows or unsecured trunks with this car). Unfortunately, the brakes and electric for this car have been a headache. Unfortunately, the brakes and electric for this car have been a headache. The brakes squeak when the weather is wet or humid, no one pays that amount of money to drive around what is supposed to be a luxury vehicle with squeaky brakes. How embarrassing! There has also been recall after recall on this car ranging from problems with the keys to having to have the heater removed from the heated windshield wiper fluid reservoir. The blind spots are absolutely terrible, and I have also experience constant electrical problems. Overall, the brand Cadillac has been great to me, but in the future, I would definitely look into the model year of car I am interested in more extensively prior to buying.
The trunk is so spacious in this car that one time, at the drive in, my kids and I backed into our parking spot, popped the trunk, and sat inside with blankets and pillows to watch the movie. It was great. We got fresh air, quality sound, and a great view of the screen without having to look through a windshield.
