2004 Cadillac Escalade ESV - Amazing space, solid vehicle

I love this ESV Cadillac Escalade because it rides so smooth, like a car, but has so much space, like a truck. I have moved drywall sheets in the back with the third row removed and bucket seats folded down. I have transported such large items, like a dryer, which otherwise I would need to rent a truck to transport. There is nothing I dislike, except that I have put a few dings and scratches in it because I drive like a rally car racer at times.
Pros
Cargo space! Can't get enough. The seats are comfy. Love having the navigation system built in, and the DVD player in the back for the kids.
Cons
This vehicle eats up the gas, which at the current price, can be a bit overwhelming, but if you're looking at a Cadillac, that probably won't be an issue.

This is the most comfortable suv we have ever owned. It rides very smooth unlike our previous sub's and gets better fuel mileage as well. The seats are wider and more plush creating less vibration and ease driving over bumpy roads. Still an suv and has good power and performance
Story
No stories yet although it has made 1 family trip so far. The trip was very pleasant and having had 8 back surgeries I don't say trips were comfortable very often. Looking forward to many more
Pros
Smooth ride better fuel mileage good power
Cons
Needs 4 wheel drive instead of all wheel drive

I have a Pewter Color 2004 Cadillac Escalade ESV. The SUV is very stylish, and has a lot of room for people and luggage at the same time. The seats are very comfortable, and the second row bucket seats make for easy access to the third row seating. The factory Boss sound system in the car sounds amazing. The one trade off that I have with this vehicle is the terrible gas mileage. On average, I get 13.7 mpg, so I have to fill up at the pump a lot. The SUV also eats through brakes a lot faster then other SUV's I have had in the past. Overall, I love the SUV, but hate the gas mileage.
Story
We have drove this SUV from PA to FL on vacations 3 separate times on vacation. The vehicle drives very smooth, and there is a lot of leg room.
Pros
I love that the SUV has heated leather bucket seats in the front and second row. The standard Boss sound system in the car sounds really nice, and the controls for the radio/cd player make listening to music very convenient. I exceptionally love how much room I have in the car for people and whatever luggage I need to take with me. I can fit 3 kids, a full grocery trip, and a double stroller in the SUV without having to sacrifice comfort. When driving on the highway, the interior cabin of the SUV is very quiet, and it drives very smooth. I also really like that the back windows are fa... (more)
Cons
Gas mileage is my biggest complaint with this vehicle. On average, I get 13.7 mpg, so I am constantly filling up at the pump. If you are on a budget, this vehicle may not be for you. The cup holders for the second row are very shallow, so when you drive around a bend, there is a large possibility of the drink spilling. There also aren't that many accessible cigarette lighter plug outlets for your electronics in the front. This makes it difficult if you have your gps plugged in, and want to plug in more than one cell phone to charge while you are in the car. Brakes, spark plugs, and ti... (more)
