This vehicle is still my pride and joy around town. Plenty of curbside presence/ This is my second Escalade and I continue to be impressed. This is absolutely a car I would recommend to other family or friends. I've owned several luxury SUV's and the 2009 Escalade is an overall more enjoyable vehicle. We currently also own a Mercedes ML500, the Escalade doesn't handle quite as well on cornering but otherwise the Escalade out performs and is everything you could ask for and more. It is very well equipped from a luxury perspective, again comparing it to the ML500 the seats of the Escalade are comfortable but with the ML their are more adjustable area's of the seat so you can form it to your personal shape better. The navigation in the ML STINKS and the Escalade is a dream to use, view, ... (more)
Pros
The responsiveness to pulling a trailer, it's like a different vehicle when you push the trailer button and the transmission begins to work with the load and engine. The hide-a-way running boards are great, Bluetooth connection to my IPhone, Navigation & back-up camera and the overall sport look.
Cons
Improve the adjustment possibilities on the driver seat. Figure out a way to store third row seats in vehicle, mine stay in the garage because they take up to much room while in but not in use. I know it's a big SUV but a couple more MPG would be nice.

The 2011 Cadillac Escalade I purchased was the best car purchase I ever had. I absolutely adored how it looked; so sleep and black, all glossed up in the night lights of Chicago. It is so beautiful, and it is a powerhorse of a car. Sure, the gas mileage is poor, but I knew that going into the dealership. I can afford the car, I can afford the gas, right? The sound system is such a bonus too; booming bass for my favorite rap artists to jam out to. The rearview camera is great too to make parking easy; since it is so large a mass, parking can be a little bit difficult. This car's acceleration is great for its size, and the brakes work so well; it really is a safe car. Still, buckle up! Overall it is very reliable; I have not had to take it into a shop for more than oil!
Story
Nothing too memorable; because of the gas mileage, I can't take it on road trips or anything. Still, there is plenty of room for friends to hang out in.
Pros
Looks amazing and has great acceleration for its size. I LOVE the sound system, it sounds so crisp and real. There is a lot of room for friends too.
Cons
Obviously the gas mileage is a negative; also, parking can be quite difficult if you are not used to driving such a big car.
