I drive a Cadillac, and it is a great family truck. We have a big family, and this car is perfect for us. I love that my stroller fits in the back of the car even when my kids are in it. I also like the smooth drive that it gives us when we are out on trips. When we are all packed in the truck, we all still have enough personal space that we are not sitting on top of one another. I don't think I could live without my back-up beeper, it has saved me from many fender benders. With having kids, means dents and scratches, but the exterior seems to hold up against my kids. Yes, it could use a paint job, but it has held up every well. My husband does the maintenance for the truck, and I think it is pretty easy to work on. There isn't anything he can't do. It has lasted up through the y... (more)
Story
We used this truck to drive to the beach; it was reliable and made the trip much easier.
Pros
My favorite thing about my vehicle is that it fits our family. As a family of eight, we need everyone to get from one place to another without multiple cars.
Cons
It was made in 2002, so it is on the older side, so the features aren't up to date like the newer models today. More maintenance will be needed to ensure it stays up to par.

The Cadillac Escalade is a high-performance, luxury vehicle. The black and tan coloration and fancy wheels still turns heads after 17 years. The leather is supple and comfortable, the DVD and TV player were a life-saving bonus when the kids were small and the storage room and seat adjustment capabilities make it a key player when moving kids to/from sporting events, social activities, and college.
Story
This vehicle has taken our family to Disney Land, Lego Land, Sea World, the Grand Canyon and elsewhere. Our kids were able to sleep comfortably during the long drives, and there was plenty of room for friends and luggage.
Pros
Superior comfort and luxurious amenities. DVD/TV options. Fold-down and removable seats for maximum hauling capacity. Electronic folding side mirrors, moon roof, heated seats, separate A/C for front and back. Seats eight.
Cons
Gas mileage, a few persistent oil leaks.
