2005 Cadillac STS Owner Ratings & Reviews
Write a Review
2005 Cadillac STS -
The car has served me well. It has 90,000 + miles and no engine issues. The interior quality is high end and with minimal care has maintained its original look and feel. Besides regular maintenance I have not needed to do much to vehicle.
Story
I enjoy riding around with a friend with the windows down singing fun songs together.
Pros
The best thing about this vehicle is the luxury and reliability. It drives as if you are floating on a cloud, very smooth. The leather is soft and the heated seats are a huge help in the winter. Remote start helps in summer time and in the colder months. Besides being nice to look at it has never failed me on the road. One of my favorite components is the beeping when while reversing one gets too close to other car. Also trunk space is fabulous!
Cons
One negative thing about this car is that everything is more expensive on it. It uses more gas than economy cars. It has a 17 gallon tank so it costs more to fill up. Oil changes are also more expensive since it holds more quartz than a regular car. The car's weight is also more than other cars so even registration on it is more expensive. It costs the same as an SUV while still being a car. Even still I would not change it.
2005 Cadillac STS - I've been very satisfied with this vehicle
It's honestly the best car I have ever owned. A lot of people have told me to avoid Cadillacs due to their aluminum head gaskets and the chance of warping, but I have had no major issues with mine over the last ten years. Very smooth ride, has magnetic suspension same as a Corvette. Tons of power when you need it. It's the most comfortable vehicle I've ever sat it. Only minor and expected expenses due to owning this vehicle.
Story
I enjoy cruising around the area on sunny days with the windows down. I once raced a Dodge Magnum and kept up with them.
Pros
Lots of horsepower. Extremely comfortable and luxurious interior. 11-speaker Bose system sounds amazing. Magnetic suspension for smooth ride. Very stylish look, doesn't look like an older vehicle.
Cons
Can be a bit of a gas guzzler if you get on the pedal. Expensive parts when repairs are needed. Kind of small back seat leg room. Smaller trunk than expected. When the fob battery dies, you are essentially locked out.
