Fantastic car, lots of power, decent quality.
I love the power of the Camaro, the LS1 is a fantastic motor. Sounds great, performs great. The interior tends to rattle. As long as you know you are getting an older Chevrolet this should not surprise you. The exhaust rattles under hard acceleration, but just cruising around town it doesn't rattle at all. Fuel economy isn't great but with a 6 speed manual transmission it does help get decent mileage on the highway. The car looks great, even after 18 years. You can take the car to the racetrack and drive it home. The value of the car if it's taken care of can exceed the KBB value easily.
