1990 Chrysler Grand Voyager - Chrysler Grand Voyager is the all-purpose family car!
The Chrysler Grand Voyage is the perfect all-purpose family car! We purchased one just prior to having our first child, and we were continually thankful that we did. Features of the car that were most important to us include: Space—plenty of room for multiple passengers, child-rearing equipment, toys, baby seats, dog carriers, camping equipment, etc. There was also plenty of room to move about the inside of the car while the vehicle is in motion, especially important when the baby drops the pacifier, spits up on its bib, or just needs another toy. Room— never feel cramped up in a small space with a noisy bunch of rambunctious youth. Room— never feel cramped up in a small space with a noisy bunch of rambunctious youth. Quiet—the insulation is sufficient to bear up under one of those crying days and reduced road noise to enable family members to communicate with others in the front/back of the vehicle. Reasonable mileage—while not the most fuel efficient vehicle, it is better than other vehicles in its class. Safe and ruggedly built—saved my life when an enormous animal leaped out into the road in front of the car. The shear weight of the beast caused the entire front end of the car to be crushed in, but I did not receive a single scratch. Flexible—with removable seats, this provides flexibility to accommodate either your seven-passenger trips or remove the back seats and fill the back half of the vehicle with home improvement materials. Ideal for the long trip—when you need to travel cross country, it is a great advantage to be able to pack the car full of items that you need and then be able to readily access them without leaving the vehicle or rearranging the trunk. It allows you to pull over in a rest stop and stretch out in back to get a little shuteye and provides a play area within to keep the youngsters occupied for the long journey.

We eagerly transported this catch home to put in our 55 -gallon tank, so we could watch the development of the fish as a life lesson for the children. An unexpected quick turn caused the fish tank to turn on its side and empty 20 gallons of water and a handful of fish onto the floor of our vehicle. We scurried to put the fish into a plastic bag, pulled over in the country street, and approached a farmhouse with the bag-o-fish and an empty tank. I will never forget the kindness and nonplussed reaction of the mother of the home as we told her that we stopped by with a bag of fish and were hoping to borrow some water. All ended well, fish survived, car dried out without a problem, and our faith in humanity was strengthened!
Spacious. Dependable. Flexible. All-purpose. Safe. Quiet. Reasonable gas mileage.

Not the most sporty in appearance but more of a functional winner. Could be more fuel efficient. Engine was not the most powerful and did not fair well when towing a camper up the mountain side, but it rolled downhill quite well.

2000 Chrysler Grand Voyager - One of the best vehicles I have ever owned.
I love the easy access all around the vehicle. Two sliding doors (one on each side) give easy access to the passenger area. The back area behind the passenger seating is spacious. I love the alternate power port in the back near the door, allowing me to plug in an air pump if I encounter a problem with tire pressure. Ample cup holders throughout the vehicle. Additional storage is also present for passengers to use while traveling. Electric powered windows a plus, allowing driver to even open back windows with a touch of the button. Very comfortable bench seating in back passenger area. Nice interior, well made carpet and upholstery. The electric mirrors and front seat adjustments very accessible and quick to use when changing drivers. The radio is great with clear sound but does not pl... (more)

I love all the easy access light switches that anyone in any area of the vehicle can use regardless of where they are seated. The ride is always smooth with very little road noise. Drives like a dream, turns remarkably sharp given that it has a longer turn radius. All around, I love the design. Wonderful gas mileage.
I had an appointment after working a graveyard shift. I had an appointment after working a graveyard shift. I went directly to the appointment after leaving work because I was not familiar with the area and was worried about getting lost and being late for the appointment. I needn't of worried. Everything went smoothly. Every light I came to was green, the traffic was light and I had no trouble locating my destination. I even found a parking spot right by the entrance. I found myself with 40 mins. to spare and was exhausted from my long, stressful 12-hour shift, and with extra time on my hands, I decided to take a short nap. I considered sleeping in the driver's seat (really has comfortable seating) but thought I would possibly be awakened by someone making sure I was alright and not dead or someone to tell me I couldn't sleep there. I decided to give one of the bench seats in the back a try. OMG. It was surprisingly comfortable. I slept really well, and if I hadn't set my alarm on my phone, I am sure I would of ended up sleeping through my appointment. I awoke refreshed with no body pains from sleeping on the bench seat.
Drives well with little road noise. Great mileage. I get 19 mpg in the city and 25 on the highway. I love the spacious design and all the light switches, alternate power port, multiple cup holders throughout vehicle. Can alternate to economy mode to save fuel.

Windows in the back, although can be opened with power switch, they only open a very little amount and do not provide as much air flow as I would like when parked. I wish the side doors also had an option of opening windows on the doors. Must have key in ignition to open windows. Does not come with CD player as standard option.

2002 Chrysler Grand Voyager - Love this van.
I bought this car/van from my mom. She had a whole bunch of options put into it, so it is loaded. My favorite added feature is the heated seats. We live in an area that has moderate winter, so the warmth is really appreciated in the cold winter mornings. This has been a very reliable vehicle. It has taken the kids and their instruments to school and band practice, run us all over town, moved kids to college, packed groceries for hungry boys and hungry band kids, and generally taken a lot of abuse. It will hold seven people comfortably or two and the contents of a booth for a craft fair. It drives well on wet roads. It is good on snow, except when there is ice underneath or when the road crews haven't cleared well. Then again, that may be a driver problem. Our road crews aren'... (more)

It has survived two teenagers learning to drive and all the running around they do after they learn. I love the adjustable seats. I also love the fact that, as a van, it has back doors on both sides. Great for loading kids and stuff. The air system circulates air well throughout, making it comfortable for all to ride.
Have had it so long that my kids would not recognize me driving anything else. Neighbor's dogs somehow recognize the sound of the engine and comes to the fence before they can see the car.

Love the heated seats. Great A/C and air circulation throughout. Plenty of storage in the rear. Seats fold down or can be removed for more storage. Very comfortable ride for all riders. Like being able to control temp back from back seat and each side temp in front. Love the in-car CD player, too.

Seat belts are designed for tall people. They are adjustable down but still uncomfortable for my 5'5" frame. Leg room in back can be limited if front seats are all the way back. We are a tall family (except me). Interior lighting at night is inadequate and bothers the driver.
