The Chrysler 200 is a great looking mid-sized vehicle. I have put a lot of miles on the car in a short amount of time and it still runs like a dream! The finishes on the outside and the inside are high quality and make the car feel like a luxury car. I have not had any trouble with the electronics. I had a two year old when I purchased the car and have since had twins. All three car seats fit across the back seat and the children are comfortable, tucked in safely. The trunk easily holds the double stroller with extra space for our jumbo diaper bag and a few toys. I feel confident taking the whole family out in this practical and reliable car.
Story
I recently had twins so people are always coming out to the car to see the babies, so we do not have to take them out. My 3 yr. old sits in the middle of the twins in the back seat. Everyone always comments on how nice the three kids fit in the back seat and how my 3 yr. old can be a great big sister sitting between the babies. She enjoys keeping her stuff in the pockets on the back of the fro... (more)
Pros
My favorite features are the size of the interior and trunk, the gas mileage is very good for the size of the car, and I love that the Stereo and CD player are convenient and easy to use. My husband and I are both tall and feel very comfortable in the car. The car feels very safe, I was rear ended and we barely felt a thing. With 3 small children that means a lot!!!
Cons
The interior is black and shows everything!!! The dashboard always looks dusty and the headlights keep going out and are almost impossible to replace! It is very difficult to access the headlights to put the replacement in yourself.

The car has very good build quality, especially when compared to earlier Chrysler products. The new factory and manufacturing process has done good things to this car as it now feels like it was built from one solid piece, as opposed to the rattling cages that it replaced. The interior quality is some of the best I've seen in this price range. It has soft plastics, very nice leather, and real wood trim, not that fake plastic stuff that shines with tackiness. The interior space is phenomenal, by replacing the stick with a rotor drive mode selector, they have managed to save a ton of space in and under the console. The 3.6 V6 Pentastar engine is a must for this car, the power helps keep the transmission in line. Add in the AWD and you have a car that can actually get up and go very qui... (more)
Story
I was cruising on the highway late at night, the roads were empty except for me and an old Subaru outback. First I passed him going my cruising speed, then he sped passed me, then I caught up to him and we floored it together. Reaching over 110mph. Not mind blowingly fast for a racecar driver, but it was the fastest I've ever gone in the winter and the experience with the other driver wasn't a... (more)
Pros
Power and Torque. The engine makes 295HP and 262lb/ft Torque. The AWD makes things even better off the line.
Cons
The car is being discontinued. It's a bit on the heavy side. Rear seats can be hard to get into, but once you're in they're fine.

I bought the Chrysler 200 very quickly without much time to evaluate. I am happy to say the car has exceeded my expectations. I love the way the engine performs, although gas mileage is not the greatest. This is the first car I've owned with GPS which of course comes in very handy. Power seat adjustment is so easy - I don't think I would ever want a car without that feature again. I love the leather seats and moon roof, and the trunk is very roomy for a mid-size car. I have room for a wheelchair in the trunk, and I can also fit a wheelchair in the back seat. Remote engine start is great for heating or cooling the car before getting in, and has even helped me to find the car in a crowded parking lot a few times!
Story
The first fairly long trip I took in this vehicle was to take my 94 year old mother to a casino so she could play the slot machines. It was so nice to feel safe for the drive, because the last time we had gone to the casino in another car my serpentine belt broke and we had to be towed about 120 miles. My mother had to climb into a huge tow truck (very nice inside - you could live in there) wh... (more)
Pros
My favorite feature about the Chrysler 200 is the powerful engine. It makes me feel safe to know that I can accelerate very quickly if there is something or somebody I need to get away from. I also LOVE that power seat adjustment feature. When on long trips it is so easy to change positions which makes driving less tiring.
Cons
Although I really like the Chrysler 200, I absolutely HATE the seats in this car. I prefer a seat with a straight back or lumbar support. The seat in the Chrysler makes me feel hunched over, almost like it's pushing me into a fetal position. I have to keep a pillow behind my lower back while driving (or as a passenger) or else I would go crazy.
