I never would have thought I would be a minivan owner. Although it is not my dream vehicle, I am so glad we bought it. We have traveled over 75,000 miles in it and across the country and could not be happier. The car is very easy for my girls to get in and out of without needing assistance. The entertainment system is wonderful. My girls can watch or listen to whatever they want in the back of the car, while my husband and I listen to what we want in the front. The second and third rows are so versatile. We have configured them many different way for different purposes. We also have three large dogs and there is plenty of room in the entire vehicle for all of us without anyone feeling like they are getting stepped on. I was disappointed that it did not have remote start. We live in the... (more)
Story
We love taking this vehicle to the drive in. Everyone can lay back in their seats and watch the movie. Also, with the sliding doors, we can go in and out without bothering each other.
Pros
I love that this vehicle does not scream minivan. I love that there are multiple temperature zones. My husband and I can each be comfortable as well as my children. I also love that I can control the windows in the back so my children are not constantly putting them up and down. I also love the storage under the second row seats. They have been perfect hiding spots for gifts.
Cons
I don't like the fact that the spare tire is under the front of the car. It makes it all but impossible for me to change a tire myself. Also, I wish there was a remote start so that the car would cool down or warm up before I get into it. Also, I wish there was a backup sensor that would notify me if I'm getting too close to something.

The 2006 Chrysler Town and Country is a well put together vehicle. It is easily the nicest I have ever owned. The engine runs very quietly and is very smooth. The sound system is very nice, and the air blows cold, which is important in Texas! The paint still looks very good, with little to no signs of wear. The interior is very comfortable, and has held up very well, with minimal signs of wear. We took it on our vacation last year, and even going up and down in the mountains, it stayed cool and steady, not even a hiccup. It has over 120,000 miles on it, and still runs, and rides very comfortably. My husband and I both have arthritis in our hips, and the step up into this van is perfect for reducing strain, the height is just right for us to avoid trouble getting in or out. We have not ... We wanted to buy a van to accommodate our growing family and large dog for 7 hour road trips that we take a few times a year to see family. Despite friends telling us we should go with an SUV, we are very glad we chose this van. Not only does it feel safe enough for our baby, the seats fold down easily for when we need to take our dog somewhere so that he isn't jumping up on them. It is a very spacious vehicle but it doesn't drive as if it is gigantic. In fact, driving it is very smooth and I strongly prefer it to the SUV I owned previously. There are plenty of places to store things like tissues, sunglasses, purses, cell phone chargers, etc. I have had some problems setting up the garage door opener but I am not sure if that is a problem with the van or with my garage door. One thing ... (more)
Story
My dog loves this car. The first time he was in it he ran around the back (with the seat down). Now if we open one of the sliding doors he immediately hops in and lays down!
Pros
My favorite feature has to be the power doors and trunk. Having all the buttons for the sliding doors and the trunk on the key as well as inside the van itself has been very useful. I also love how easily the seats in back fold down and how flat they are, you can definitely fit a good amount in with them down. The Bluetooth features are great too, I've programmed my own phone as well as my husband's and they work great.
Cons
No trip counter, just the overall miles are displayed. Some features are hard to figure out, the user's manual helps with this a lot but can be time consuming to find what you need.
