I purchased my 2004 Chrysler Town and Country used in 2015. It was extremely clean with low miles. It came with 4 individual seats. I am able to remove them easily for hauling cargo. I am able to fit significantly more in the cargo area than I would have imagined. My van has front and rear climate controls. I can dial up the A/C for my passengers to keep them comfy. There is a luggage rack on top. I have not used it, but it seems adequate for a goodly amount of stuff. I had never owned a van before I purchased this vehicle. I'd say I'm pretty happy with it as opposed to a passenger car. It is much more versatile.
Story
Not a fun story but I did a couple of dump runs with my van and was able to haul a significant amount of junk. Testament to the cargo capacity.
Pros
When I first drove this vehicle I was happy with the height. I had only driven passenger cars and found that driving from a slightly elevated position was pretty cool. The storage opportunities with this van are great. I can load it up with all kinds of stuff. I can haul just as much if not more than an average size pick up truck.
Cons
I had bought this vehicle used. Even though it was exceptionally clean when I bought it, it was relatively old at that point. The few problems I have had with it are no surprise considering the age. Some of the pain laminate bonding is coming free below the passenger doors. I have a constant ABS warning light on the dash panel. My mechanic says it's simply an electrical glitch. Other than that, as I keep up with the maintenance, the van is doing pretty well.

The Chrysler Town and Country has been my first minivan and I am thrilled to say that it won't be my last. I purchased it in 2007, when it was 3 years old. I have never, ever had problems with the engine. In fact, the interior has held up remarkably over all of these years, as well. I had never owned a Chrysler before this and was very pleasantly surprised by the durability of this vehicle. In fact, for the last two years, when one might baby a car approaching 80,000 miles, I took a job which caused me to drive over 40,000 miles in one year. The van held up without issue. I do not think I will ever get rid of this vehicle. I will probably drive it from time to time just to see how long I can keep it going! Perhaps that means handing it off to one of my children, but I'm not sure I can ... (more)
Story
I have driven this vehicle across the country, at times even sleeping in the back. It wasn't the best night's sleep, but it was safe and better than nothing!
Pros
I loved the reliability of this vehicle. It is sturdy, well made, comfortably seats seven and is perfect for road trips or in-town driving. My van has lasted 13 years with no issues.
Cons
I feel that the 2004 Chrysler Town and Country does not corner "on a dime". It does not have a tight turn radius. It also does not jump into acceleration the way larger engines do. My van was a 6 cylinder, and took a while to gain speed when merging onto a freeway.
