2001 Chrysler Town and Country - Excellent and Family-friendly
We were looking to upgrade to a family-friendly vehicle, and the Chrysler Town and Country van was perfect for us. There are multiple seatings for carpooling and room for storage. The ample storage in the back and sides allow for carry-on of important tools. It is great for traveling. In addition to storage space, it travels light and easy. It is a classy vehicle even though an older model. Would definitely buy again.

2001 Chrysler Town and Country - Good Family Van
This van has served my family well so far. Even for an older model we have only needed to do a few repairs here and there. I love the leather interior. One feature I particularly like about my van is that the back doors can be opened/closed with the remote or the interior buttons. That is super helpful with a toddler. My son loves to press the buttons to close the door and I don't have to worry about him getting hurt by the door because it stops if anything is in the way of it closing properly. I also like that I have room for my 90 lb. Lab/Bullmastiff mix. We wanted a bigger vehicle so we could better accommodate for our dog's size on trips. Previously we had taken our dog in a smaller vehicle and that was rather cramped.
Story
This vehicle is our long trip/vacation vehicle. We have taken it from Delaware to Virginia/ North Carolina multiple times. The dog loves to lay on the back seat or in the floor on trips.
Pros
-Size: this vehicle is large enough to accommodate my family's needs, especially with having a large breed dog and a toddler.
- The remote and button options for closing the back doors automatically are great. A big hit with independent small children su
Cons
- It has some of the strange repair issues that I have experienced with Chryslers in the past such as the serpentine belt going out and the car stops running until it is replaced.
- The turn radius isn't the best, but that's a common issue with larger ve
