I like my car because I have three kids (two teenage boys and a toddler girl), and the car I had before caused a lot of fighting over being squished. We gave two single seats instead of a bench seat in the middle and a three-person bench seat in the back. My two boys can sit away from each other, which helps with their fighting. We have two pull out drawers under the front driver seat and the front passenger seat, along with a middle compartment between the two seats that is very deep and lots of separate compartments in it to stay organized. There is a very deep and wide "cubby" under the feet of both middle seats that is covered with a folding cover. The "trunk" area is very deep for storage and also so the back seats fold down flat into it. When you fold the back seats into the stow... (more)
Story
My most fun memory is going camping and being able to bring everything we thought we could possibly want to use.
Pros
The space is definitely the most positive thing about my car. We recently went camping and I was amazed by what I was able to bring. My husband, two teenage boys, toddler daughter and myself all rode together. Along with us fitting we brought a large cooler on wheels, a large table height cooler, a queen-size memory foam mattress rolled up, five sleeping bags, six pillows, four comforters, a folding table, a bike, a scooter, a tricycle, four bags of clothes, four tiki torches, corn hole set, three large Easter baskets filled with candy and toys, cast iron skillet and other cooking utensils... Cons
The most negative thing I have noticed about this car so far is the rust. The rear fenders are starting to rust and it seems like it is spreading very quickly. I am about to have this fixed soon because I am afraid it I don't do it then the rust will just keep spreading around the car. The inside track of on of the sliding doors is also very rusty inside. I don't know if the rust is what caused this but the door will not stay latched open. So this means that when you are trying to reach in and grab anything you have to hold the door open with your hip or hand or it will close on you. The s... (more)

The 2006 Chrysler Town & Country is a very reliable, worthwhile vehicle. It doesn't have a ton of bells and whistles, but it offers just what I need. I have a larger family, with multiple small children. It accommodates car seats and booster seats well. This van has lots of standard, regular features that make it a great vehicle for families. I can drive with confidence knowing my children and I will arrive at our destination safely. I like the dual heat, automatic back windows, stow and go, and automatic sliding doors. I do slightly dislike the automatic sliding doors, since they can be a bit finicky. Overall, it's a very good vehicle. It is great for a family on a budget that doesn't require a ton of special features but would prefer something a bit more simple and uncomplicated. I f... (more)
Story
My girls got super excited when we first got to use the vehicle for school pick-up and drop-off. They loved that they could hit a button to open the door. It made them feel so independent and capable.
Pros
I loved the automatic sliding door option. When looking into vehicles, that was one of the top must-haves on my list. I wanted doors my children could easily open and close themselves. I also really like the dual heat offered. My previous van did not have this, and I feel better knowing that my children have A/? and heat in the back of the van. I don't need to worry that the air or heat from the front is not reaching them. I can trust that they are comfortable while riding in this vehicle. I also really like the ample room in the back for groceries or luggage. I utilize this area a lot for... (more)
Cons
There aren't a ton of negative things about this vehicle. I find it meets most of the expectations I had for a vehicle. I have had lots of problems with the automatic sliding doors. I bought this vehicle for that purpose. My children are too small to be able to open the doors on their own, and I am not always able to get out during school drop offs to open the door for them. I wanted automatic sliding doors so we could just push a button to open a close. A month after purchasing the vehicle, the automatic doors stopped working. I was really disappointed. I have looked up information about ... (more)
