I like the sleek look of the vehicle. The seating is relatively comfortable. I hate the entire engine compartment setup, the cheap trunk materials, and the fact that the entire underneath side is just plastic shields with plastic buttons.
Story
This wasn't a fun experience at all but it was memorable. My husband, 81 year old mother and I were on our way to a wedding. The car overheated and we had to pull over at a place of business. Before I could object, my husband removed the radiator cap and spewed hot coolant all over his hand and part of his face. He got steam burn on hand. Fortunately we were a few miles from our daughter who h... (more)
Pros
The repairs are relatively cheap for first 100K miles.
Cons
There are several negative items that I can share. The first item is that I hope you never need to put a water pump in this vehicle. It is absolutely astounding that you have to take off radiator fans, power steering pumps, timing covers and replace the timing chain to change a water pump, with a minimum cost of $1000 to repair a water pump. It is cheaply held together with plastic and buttons.

I have always LOVED the look of this car, and the feeling of the wind in my hair. I love the color and the way it handles. It's now 15 years old, and still drives like a dream. I've had to put very little money into it over the years. It has been dependable, and I plan to keep driving it for as long as it stays that way. The only "downside" has been that the top seems to have "shrunk" at some point. There is a small leak over the driver door when there is a slow rain, and it can get loud when it's windy.
Story
Not long after I bought it, I had it parked on the street. I came outside to see a couple looking at it and the woman was saying "oh look. There's my car." It was said in the way you would use when looking at something you'll never be able to afford. I couldn't believe someone was doing that with something I actually owned! My best friend and I have taken a lot of great road trips in this ca... (more)
Pros
It has been mechanically sound, and is SO much fun to drive.
Cons
The wind can be loud and it can get cold in the winter.

This vehicle is great looking for the price. When cleaned up it drives nicely around town. I love the fact that it came with the Alloy wheels and when it was clean it looked amazing. It had decent "get up and go" which is important for a male to have in my opinion. The inside was pretty basic but it did have the auxiliary cord option. That was huge for a 2008 vehicle when I first got it as not many cars had that at that time. The steering wheels cranks a little noise when I turn but other than that I haven't had any problems and it's a good starter vehicle.
Story
The backseat is very large and had great use in high school :-)
Pros
This car looks great when clean. The alloy wheels really stand out. It has a nice sleek look to it. The auxiliary cord option was really great when I first got it to listen to music. The sound system is really great, has good bass. The seats are pretty comfortable. The power locks are great. The power windows are also still working great. There is enough room in the trunk to fit several suitcases if you work them right. The seats were adjustable electrically.
Cons
The front headlights look horrible now because water gets into them. For some reason the steering wheels whines when you turn it. When you get into the car it is easy to bump your head as the opening is small. The material for the cars inside is cheap.
