I have owned this car for over 6 years. It has not required an excessive amount of repairs. It is generally dependable and I trust that it will be in working condition every time I drive it.
Story
I have taken many naps in this vehicle, by lying across the bench seat in the back. It is perfect since the windows are tinted and no one can see in! And the seat is comfortable.
Pros
It has some nice features, such as the automatic sliding doors and lift gate. It has "limousine" lighting inside. It has an AC outlet inside, which is nice for charging the kids' electronic devices. It has Stow-and-Go seats, which is awesome when you need a lot of space in the back! The seats are very easy to stow. There is a lot of room in the back for bikes and hauling all kinds of furniture or whatever you need to haul. It is comfortable for the kids on long trips.
Cons
A few things have been irritating, like the automatic doors will sometimes not open with the push of the button, or they open and then quickly close again before you can get out! Some minor things have broken inside the car, like headrest tabs that keep the headrest from falling down. Otherwise, it has been a great family vehicle.

I like that my car is reliable. It required (until recently) very little maintenance. Most all the maintenance that was necessary was covered by the warranty or by recalls. I paid very little for the car besides typical wear and tear and replacing of the breaks. It has 160,0000 miles on it and is still running like crazy. It drives really fast. We drove it all the way from Michigan to Florida without one issue. It handled the mountains in Kentucky and West Virginia like a pro. It did everything I needed it to do. I even used to be a mystery shopper for several years. This car would drive up to ten hours per day without one issue. It is the most reliable vehicle I have ever had. Only recently it has had a major issue that is not fixable so we have to get rid of it.
Story
We added 4,000 miles on the car last August. It drove like a pro. Not one issue. Not one over heating. Not one stop. We drove up the mountains very fast, and it did not hesitate. When we went to Tennessee and Kentucky, it acted like mountains are its friend. I would drive this car another ten years, if it did not have the turning off issue.
Pros
The most positive thing was that it was very reliable. That no matter what it ran. It never got me stranded. No matter how much I abused this car by driving a ton, it was okay. The car has been all over the United States. Who drives a nine-year-old car to California unless they know their car is very reliable? The engine is like that of a brand new car. It has a ton of power. The handling is amazing. The car is as quiet and handles as well as my husband's e350 Mercedes. The car is amazing, honestly.
Cons
The cons were there was a lot of maintenance involved that was all covered by the warranty. The car has had at least 15-20 recalls. They were all covered by the service department at the dealer. It was a hassle however to go back and forth to the dealer so many times. Also, there were several issues the 1st year or two that were all covered by the warranty. The sensors on the vehicle would have lights come on the first couple years, and I would have to hang out at the dealer all morning. It is okay that it had all that maintenance because it was free. It was just a hassle. I have a bunch o... (more)
