2014 Chrysler 200 OWNER RATINGS & REVIEWS

A good, simple, reliable car.
I have very much been OK with owning the Chrysler 200. It has proved to be very reliable, and I do a lot of driving. It is my main vehicle, and I drive it everyday. Besides wear items like brakes and tires, I have not had to put any money into it after almost eighty-thousand miles. I consider that pretty darn reliable, especially coming from an American manufacturer. It also has a very nice interior. Probably one of the best in a budget vehicle. It is very sorely lacking in anything modern or technology related. Nothing but an Aux port and automatic windows. I would rather have Bluetooth than a leather-lined steering wheel. I would also caution that this car has no power. Although again the engine is reliable, it's probably one of the slowest vehicles I have ever driven. You can feel the four-cylinder engine creaking under what is actually a fairly heavy vehicle. Also, the handling is pretty subpar. Again, it's a larger “small” car. Chrysler could certainly spend some more time tuning the steering to make it feel a whole lot more nimble.

Reliable, comfortable, inexpensive.
Overall this is a great vehicle for style, comfort, and affordability. The vehicle does not have a lot of technology upgrade compared to others in it's class, but is a great starter vehicle of for someone who wants comfort and affordability matched with durability.

A great deal for the money!
First of all, I bought this from a reputable dealer...known throughout the country. Good people and a great experience. The car caught my eye quickly. Very similar to the previous car I owned. Beautiful. It was a great price for a three-year-old car. It had a few scratches on the outside and normal to good on the inside. Very clean...just wear. Fits five people comfortably and a great travel car. Even though it had a higher amount of mileage than it should have, I wasn't worried. I drive very little, so it wasn't going to matter. Brand new tires were a plus. My only concern was the four-cylinder engine vs my six that I had prior. Just took a little getting used to but love the gas mileage of 28-30 mpg. Overall, the car was a good buy. Very happy with it and would recommend it to others.
