The most positive features of the car's technological components are the EX-T's extra large seven-inch touchscreen with integrated Apple CarPlay. This recently released car application allows Apple smartphone users to seamlessly plug-and-play their music, maps, and contact content through the touchscreen interface. This provides a safe alternative to dashboard- or windshield-mounted brackets to physically prop your phone up to eye-level. Another element of the 2016 Civics' fantastic features are standard rear-view as well as right-side-view cameras that most other cars in the compact class don't offer. These features offer additional safety and give the entry-level sedan a more luxury feel. The positives of this car don't end there, however, as the EX-T is a turbo vehicle that surprises anyone who gets behind the wheel. From an additional "S" sport mode for additional torque and acceleration, to the fuel-efficient "Eco" mode for highway traffic, the engine performs flawlessly and remains true to Honda's time-tested standard. Responsive brakes, tight steering, adequate suspension.
The only cons of the Civic are classified under interior comfort. Because of the budget level of the vehicle, powered seats are an extra luxury item. This is understandable, however given the basic no-frills style of the seat one would at least expect the seats to be comfortable. Unfortunately, the worst offending seat in the car is the passenger seat that sits extremely low to the floor, causing discomfort getting in and out of the passenger seat. The drivers' seat shares similar uncomfortable features due to the basic seat design and inadequate cushioning. The fabric, stylish as it is, s... (more)

Driving home from Brooklyn, NY to Long Island, I was able to maintain about 53 MPG in the car. You may think I was driving like a snail to achieve this but on the contrary, I drove the car normally and even kicked in the Turbo a couple times for fun. The car always surprises.

Pros for this car include the gas mileage, which will average you out around 40 even if you drive in city type areas. The car's design makes you feel like you are driving a higher end car. Even with its low horsepower, the turbo definitely gives you the pep you might want in a sportier car. The interior is warm and sleek and makes you feel like you are in a luxury car. Comes included with side view camera and back end cameras with 3 modes.

The main cons with the car is that the turbo, with the ECO mode off, kicks in a little too hard and you have to be very sensitive on the gas. Also, the windshield seems to crack very easy which can be a pain if you drive a lot.
