I like the fact the Odyssey has side curtain airbags. It also has plenty of seats and if you have all of them filled you still have plenty of room for each person. There are separate controls for each persons heat/air comforts so no more one kid being hot and the other cold, they can control that themselves. There is plenty of storage for emergency supplies so they aren't in the way at any time. The seats are heated leather, I have back issues and drive a lot so the heat eases my back pain and makes it bearable to drive for hours like I need to. The doors are electronic and I'm not crazy about that feature. Where it is getting a little age on it they get stuck and have to be reset every once and awhile. The interior is light grey and is hard to keep stain-free with children. I don't li... (more)

There was a torrential downpour with thunder and lightening on night we were afraid to get out of the van and go in it was so bad so we stayed in the van for hours waiting on it to stop the kids got to get out of their seats and they played like it was a boat and we were caught at sea in a storm. They had a blast and we even got in on the fun, daddy was captain, mommy was first mate and they w... (more)
A Favor
The pros about the Odyssey are the dvd player, the cd changer, fold up seats, and that are enough places to charge all the kids' devices. The heated seats are a godsend also.
En Contra
The VSA system and the electronic doors are the worst features. It doesn't take much to open a door so why had something else that could tear up and have to be fixed for more money. The VSA system really isn't even needed, vehicles had been doing great without them all those years.

I acquired my van second hand but it still rides like brand new, and its an 02. Its the deluxe one with the heated leather seats, they make me feel all fancy, and the power side doors on both sides, which is extremely helpful in this day of decreasing parking. I am impressed with the inclusion of multiple environment comfort zones. Do you know how awesome it is to be able to give my passengers air with out freezing myself? The only things that I would change would be to add in the stereotypical dvd player and hd screens in the head rests because I do have a daughter and they are a God send for those long difficult days. Overall I am thoroughly satisfied with my van. I fully intend on purchasing another one when I need to pick up my next vehicle.

One morning my girlfriend and I woke up and looked outside and saw that it had begun to snow pretty heavily. We both decided to hop in the van and make a quick trip to the convenience store to pick up some supplies before the roads got too bad. We had not gotten a mile down the road before the roads were completely covered. Now would be a good time for me to mention that I live in a rural are... (more)

I enjoy that my air condition still works and has not needed any maintenance other than routine upkeep such as tires and oil changes. The heated seats are a pleasant treat for cold winter mornings.
En Contra
The only thing I can say negative would be that the gas mileage is not the greatest in the world, but considering how big the thing is I would not really consider it a con.

I love my Honda Odyssey! We were excited about the addition of twins to our family but needed a vehicle upgrade ASAP because the car seats didn't fit in my sedan. We can very easily fit two rear facing car seats in the middle and back rows. I love that we can remove the center seat of the middle row to allow for more storage when travelling, but I like to have that middle seat there when we're driving around town so I can sit in the back with the babies while my husband drives. We can easily fit the large double stroller in the trunk along with groceries. The back seats fold flat very easily and quickly; I can even do it with just one hand. My hands are usually full, so the automatic sliding doors and automatic trunk door have been life savers for me especially when I'm taking the twin... (more)

We moved from Florida to Utah and drove the Odyssey across the country with 900 pounds of luggage! Even with the weight and vehicle topper we still got great gas mileage (around 23/24 mpg highway compared to the average 28/29 mpg highway we usually get). We were very comfortable during that very long drive and didn't feel cramped at all. We especially enjoyed the heated leather seats when we r... (more)

I love the automatic doors! It makes life so easy when I'm loading the kids and groceries or whatever else I have to get in the van. I really enjoy having two memory settings for the drivers seats because there's a big height difference between my husband and I, and we don't have to waste time readjusting the seat each time we get in the van.
En Contra
The only issue I've had with the Odyssey is that when I put two car seats in the back row there isn't enough room for a person to sit between the two seats. It would also be great if there were sensors on the very front of the bumper instead of just on the sides; this would especially be helpful when parking somewhere that has small parking spots.
