2006 Honda Odyssey - Reliable family vehicle
The 2006 Honda Odyssey is a simple and reliable family vehicle. The blue color was a nice touch to my purchase, as its color is a mixture of gray and blue. Personally, the Honda brand is on top of the better performing vehicles with great resale value. I have not had any issues driving and using this vehicle. This model specifically has a lot of room to move around and use. The inside of the vehicle and trunk are spacious; therefore, you can take your family on great excursions and road trips without the worry of space. This vehicle seats at least eight people and has an electronic door on the back sides, making it easy to open the doors for your children if your hands are full. The doors and windows are child proof and do not open if the vehicle is running; a great safety feature for ... (more)

I would rather the rear view mirrors be a bit larger compared to the size of this vehicle. The vehicle runs smoothly and is easy to navigate the steering wheel. For an older model vehicle, this was a great purchase and reliable vehicle.
I love the size of this vehicle, and one fun memory I have is being able to use this vehicle for a "picnic" day with my young children. It was during a rainy season in central California. My kids were a bit bored being indoors and at home for a few days. The kids loved it!
The top positive things about this vehicle are the vehicle and trunk space; movability inside the vehicle; electrical side doors that slide back rather than open out, which prevents child from hitting a car next to the vehicle when the door is open and the vehicle is parked; and the electric seat mover for the driver seat. This makes it easy to adjust the seat even if I am driving the car or at a stop sign. Overall, this vehicle is easy to drive for its more larger scale model.

The top negative things about this vehicle is that I would prefer the gas mileage on this vehicle to be more and that there would be a radio code somehow in the vehicle since retrieving the code is impossible if the battery dies and is replaced. I am having this issue currently, and since it is an older model, I have yet to retrieve the radio code, so I have been driving without the use of the radio.

2006 Honda Odyssey - Love my van.
I originally purchased the Odyssey because I kept bumping my infant son's head on the door frame of my car when I took his infant seat in and out. I swore that I would never become a "mini van mom" and now 11 years later I am confident that I will purchase another Odyssey when the time comes to replace my van. Right from the start I loved all of the space that my van offered, I loved that I could move on of the middle row bucket seats over and have my son in the middle of the row. I loved and still do love that now that I have three children I can bring their friends on trips with us and we all have enough room. In the 11 years that I have owned the van I have never had to deal with any major issues. My children are hard on the interior of the van, we have had toys, spills, cars seats,... (more)

In the 11 years that I have owned the van I have never had to deal with any major issues. My children are hard on the interior of the van, we have had toys, spills, cars seats, roller skates, and kids walking all over the seats and yet there are no rips or tears. There is nothing broken at all, witch is a miracle because my children are hard on the inside of the van. The van handles very well in the snow, as long as I drive responsibly the van handles well during New England winters. I feel like I get pretty good gas mileage, the van handles well, the ride is smooth, and all of the added extras (heather seats, DVD player) still work fine. The exterior of the van is holding up very well, my only complaint is the front panel is sticking out some and when I push it back in, it just pops out again.
One of the more memorable things about my van is our DVD player, my son would cry and cry when he got tired, so we would be running errands around town and instead of sleeping like most toddlers that are in the car do, mine screamed and cried. The DVD player saved out sanity when he was a toddler.

One of my favorite things about my van is how well it has held up over the years. The van is still fun to drive and it looks nice on the outside, the inside looks like a van that has been loved by children, especially ones that spill a lot of food. I also feel like my family is safe while riding in the van and that is do to the air bags, anti-lock breaks, and good handling.

Did I mention how much I love my van? I truly don't have much in the way of negative things to say. My only complaint is the darn front panel that is pooped out, it is just a little annoying to me.
