Has lasted many miles
I love Hondas because they hold up forever. My Odyssey has been great. It has served its purpose of being a 3 row vehicle. I loved that I put the two captain chairs in the middle row next to each other, which allowed the 3rd row to be accessed without kids walking all over the middle seat. I also love how easily the middle row seats come out. Now that I don't have all the kids I have taken one of the seats out for extra storage space. Overall, the van has been fantastic and has lived up to a lot of miles. However, there have been some cons. The transmission has been recalled twice and if you ask me still does not work properly. The airbag has been recalled 3 times. But besides recalls the only other major complaints has been the motor on the wing windows went out at about 5 years, they are $1,000 each. And the lock motor on one of the sliding doors has also gone out. Honda wants $3,000 for that. The minor complain is the location of the spare tire. You have to take the middle row seats out to access the tire. The older the van gets the more road noise I can hear, but otherwise this has been a great 3rd row vehicle for my family.

Can't Go Wrong With This Vehicle
This is one of the best vehicles I have ever owned. In fact, we have two Honda Odysseys at my house. We bought one used, and also purchased another one brand new. I can't say enough good things about this car!

Honda Odyssey, a real minivan
Being a mother of three, it was imperative to purchase a minivan, and as much as I've preached in the past that I would never, ever purchase a van, I must say that it was the best decision I have ever made. I purchased my van used almost five years ago, and the engine is in just as good shape now as it was the day I purchased it. My van has all the amenities. This van is very spacious holding up to seven passengers. It has all leather interior, equipped with GPS, as well as a DVD player and screen for the kids to enjoy watching movies while on road trips. I've had absolutely no problems with this van at all. Honestly, every car I've ever owned has been a Honda besides one in which I will not disclose the company. Let's just say that I will never ever buy another car unless it is a Honda. The engine runs great, the transmission is still going strong and maintenance is very affordable. The only things I have to worry about are replacing tires, rotating tires, tune ups and oil changes. It is a little pricey when it comes to gas, but that's expected with a vehicle of this size. I absolutely adore my Odyssey, and as they say, "I will ride it till the wheels fall off," literally. I would recommend this van to anyone who is looking for a reliable, affordable, comfortable vehicle that can transport seven or less passengers.
