I own a 2012 Honda Odyssey and have been very happy with it. Having two little boys, this vehicle makes getting them and their stroller in the car a breeze. The middle seat is able to fit three car seats across which is great. The MPG is good for a car of this size. It is easy to drive and very comfortable. It is also very stylish and a great looking car. The safety ratings are at the top of it's class.
Historia
We love loading our Honda Odyssey up and going for road trips. With the back seats folded down it can hold a lot of our luggage and fun water toys. A day on the lake is made easier with this minivan!

When our second child was born, I was sick and tired of schlepping the heavy baby in his car seat in and out of our SUV. Not to mention that I was recovering from giving birth. We set about immediately to purchase a minivan. Immediately, it became clear that there really were only two choices on the market: the Honda Odyssey and the Toyota Sienna. There were also a few others, but the majority of our friends said that the Odyssey and the Sienna was the way to go if you can afford it. We purchased the Odyssey because in 2012 the Toyota did away with the full sized middle seat in the middle row, so if you want to comfortably fit seven passengers (in addition to the driver), the Odyssey was the way to go -- at least for families who drive carpool to school and soccer practice.
Historia
We've driven our Honda Odyssey all over the eastern seaboard. It's even taken us across the Rainbow Bridge to Niagara Falls, Canada just at sunrise (it's always easier to travel long distances and road trips while young kids are sleeping, super easy in the spacious Odyssey). What a beautiful sight the Falls was with the sun rising in the pink/orange horizon!
A Favor
The Honda Odyssey is top in its class for safety. The minivan actually sits pretty low to the ground to prevent rollover in the event of car accidents. There are airbags for the driver and passenger (with automatic passenger detection which shuts off the front passenger airbag if it detects an undersized passenger in the front seat). It also comes with side air bags. The drive is smooth. The interior is comfortable and spacious. The Honda Odyssey doesn't come with four wheel drive, which can be a problem if you're driving in poor weather conditions like snow, ice, or sleet. You are also required to change the oil with expensive, synthetic 0w-20 oil, which makes changing your oil costly -- about $50-80 per oil change. Theoretically, you're supposed to get away with changing synthetic oil less often, but in reality, the maintenance minder of my Honda keeps telling me to change the oil every 6 months, which is about how often I changed it with the cheaper conventional oil.
