This is one of the best vehicles that I have owned. I financed and was offered a great deal that included an extended warranty for almost nothing. It was the top of the line warranty and included tons of parts up to 100k miles, tire replacements, roadside assistance, etc. I thought that it would come in handy, but I have only used it twice in five years and it was for things that required maintenance. It has cost me barely anything to maintain this car. It still drives the same as it did when I bought it. It is a champion in all weather. It fits everything that I need and I have used it to transport pretty large items. Fits strollers and car seats perfectly. It is a really good family car.

This is MOSTLY a great automobile.
I got this car after someone ran a red light and totaled my Ford Escape. The Escape was an excellent car, so I wanted to find something comparable. I took the Santa Fe for a test drive. Immediately it was a little bit uncomfortable, as it drove more like a "car" than it did a "truck", as my Escape had. But I got used to it fairly quickly. The ride was smooth, it handled very well, and there were no noticeable problems, so I ended up purchasing it. I enjoyed the fact that it had built-in Bluetooth and Satellite Radio, which my Escape did not. The day after I got to take my car home, I had to drive it on the interstate to get to work. That's where my only real issue came in. This car had a 4-cylinder engine, as opposed to the 6-cylinder engine of my Escape, and it was noticeable. I had to literally floor the gas pedal to get up to the speed that I wanted. There was a bit of a learning curve there, but I eventually (mostly) got used to it.
