Best car
This is honestly the best car that I have ever purchased. Its very reliable haven't really had to many issues with it. Nothing major, just some minor things that are normal. Couldn't have asked to find a better car. Its perfect for our family.

Good for a first car, but isn't built to last
I received this car when I was 16. It was red and definitely didn't look like an "old lady" car. Had a decent amount of space and was easy to learn how to drive. I still have this car, all these years later. In a way, it's been very dependable, but around a year or two ago it started falling apart at random. I have a feeling I'm going to need to be buying another one in a year or so.

Reliable and overall very adequate vehicle
As a fairly modestly-priced car from the Oldsmobile division, the Alero has overall been a satisfying purchase. If you're looking for something flashy or sporty you'd probably be better off looking elsewhere, but for a dependable, affordable, and surprisingly accommodating car, the Alero is a good choice. I have no significant complaints about it and nothing major has ever gone wrong with the car. Compared the Pontiac division's similar Grand Am, the Alero has a bit more luxurious of an interior as well, with not too much of a price difference between the two. The build quality and performance is a step above that alternative overall.
