A fun car perfect for this stage of life
IÕve wanted a Solstice since I was little - itÕs a beautiful design with the added appeal of being a convertible. The greatest thing about it was that because it is sort of a ÒmockÓ sports car, I could actually afford it, so IÕve gotten to have the fun experience of what itÕs like to zip around in a fun, fast car that draws everyoneÕs eyes!

Amazing Sports car
This vehicle was the second one I have bought and has been the last. You can work on it easily. Its big reverse flip hood it amazing to be able to wrench on your car. The leather seats are so comfortable even though the interior of the car is very very small. I am 6'2" and I sit very comfortably in both seats. I have the upgraded GXP version of this car with a turbo in it with 260 260 horse and torque. Weighting only around 3000 pounds this car is QUICK. The only bad things I can list about this car are the fact that it is very small so people have a hard time seeing you in their blind spot. That and maybe the fact that it is very very low to the ground. Other than those two "flaws" everything else is everything I had ever wanted in a car. This car will be in my family for a while and like I said before its very easy to do even the basics. Its a great learning car and comes in Manual and automatic transmissions. I highly recommend this car if you can not afford its big brother the corvette, Amazing car for anyone!

A dream car.
If you want both a sports car and a convertible, this is your vehicle. Armed with one of the highest-output motors of its size to ever be put in a production car, the Solstice is iconic in both looks and performance. Acceleration is crisp and strong thanks to a 2.0L turbocharged engine. The styling also turns heads, with the convertible top folding away completely for a classic, iconic roadster look. After buying the car used, I have driven it more than 10,000 and for three years with no mechanical issues whatsoever. It is comfortable enough for even tall people and its seats are solid enough to accommodate long drives. Fuel economy is about 30 mpg -- if you keep to reasonable acceleration and speeds. One of the quirky elements is the tiny trunk: Don't expect to take more than a small, flexible bag on an overnight trip. But you will love, love, LOVE the feeling of freedom, the power and the wind in your hair. An open-air drive in the Pontiac Solstice it more than a drive -- it is an exhilarating, life-defining moment. Don't hesitate -- buy one!
