This car is great.
I really like this car. I had driven a '99 Dodge Stratus for the last 3 years and kept running into dumb problems with it. The Grand Am was purchased from my brother's father-in-law. It had about 199k miles on it when purchased and I have added about 5k more without any problems. Cruise control works well and mechanically the car seems sound. The cabin is roomy and comfortable and it has enough space to haul all my musical equipment. The one drawback is the radio's constant power has a short in it and cannot hold presets.

Fast and stylish for a good price
I enjoyed driving this vehicle while it lasted. It ran pretty well up until the end when pretty much everything went wrong all at once. It was pretty fast and it looked cool.

I love the reliability of the make and model but the older age didn't stand up well to winter.
I liked how durable the vehicle is. I was able to pop it over a curb by accident with damage only to the tire. I had few issues with it, despite its age, and was happy that it was such an easy car to service and have serviced. The car, however, because sensitive to environmental conditions as it aged. Salt wear during winter really affected it and the power steering became tricky with age. Overall, I love the make and model but I did struggle with its reliability and stability in winter (not in terms of driving, but in terms of needing repairs).
