Used Pontiac Grand Am for Sale

In general, this car has had problem after problem after it hit roughly 100k miles. Not only has the interior fallen apart the engine has trouble staying cool, and the model is notorious for having problems overheating. I needed the head gaskets replaced after replacing the radiator and water pump did not solve the overheating problem. Constant AC problems took a couple of years to fix, and the car is still not trustworthy on drives longer than 40 minutes.

I love the durability of the car. My car was in my possession for 5 years but was in another family member possession for an additional 3 years and neither of us had a problem with the vehicle. It performs well. The overall quality was great except for minor flaws.

We bought this car as a back up for those times we need to be in 2 different places at the same time. The Pontiac has surpassed my expectations. I can fit 2 car seats plus a very well behaved dog in the back. All the interior pieces such as knobs and auto locks have held up and still look great. It runs smooth on the highway. I have to watch because it never feels like I'm going as fast as I am. I get fairly good gas mileage. I haven't had any mechanical problems but I do try to keep up with routine maintaince. I would definitely recommend purchasing this vehicle.
