Best vehicle ever
I honestly did not find anything I disliked about the vehicle. I loved the look of it, the size, the performance, the accessories. I love the idea of a split hatch, and having seats and cupholders on the lower gate.

The Aztec, the car that sank Pontiac
The styling of the Aztec was truly unique. It was a true love it or hate it car. It didn't know what it wanted to be, part SUV part luxury car. The appointments in the car where truly awesome, stylish and comfortable. I believe the car only ran for 4 or 5 years before it sank into oblivion and brought the whole company down with it because of its failure to catch on to the car buying public. The car was introduced to the buying public in 2001 ( the year I owned) to Luke warm reviews. As I stated before it was a love it or hate it type of car. I had the misfortune of loving the unique body styling when I first saw it. Then I hoped in for a test drive and the ride was super, smooth as sitting in my living room. It handled well and had a superior sound system. Unfortunately all the good things this car had going for it could not compensate for the small under powered engine it was given, the faulty electrical system that was installed and the body control modulus that where placed through out the car that shorted out and had to be replaced ( at about $200 each) every time the wind blew.

Reliable, zippy, spacious and fun
I bought this car used in 2003, when it had 40,000 miles on it. It now has 180,000 miles on it. I rarely had any trouble with the car, and if I did, they were minor repairs. The car is known for being ugly, but I think I've gotten used to it. The inside is standard - nothing too exceptional about it. It did come with a tent, which utilized once. The inside of the car is roomy enough to fit two people laying down on a twin-size mattress. The seats are not very comfortable though. It is a pretty bulky vehicle so there tends to be blind spots. I drove this car all over the United States, making sure not to push it too hard, but also confident that it would get me where I needed to go. Repairs can be difficult. Since the car has been out of production, parts can be expensive. Overall, I really like this car and it is definitely multi-functional. It's too bad it's gotten a bad reputation over the years.
