The little engine that could
It's really a shame that the Aztec isn't produced anymore, so if you happen to find this diamond in the rough I would highly suggest owning it. The engines are solid, the interior is roomy, the trunk space is massive, and the best part, it still gets great gas mileage for an older V6. Although you cannot walk into a new car dealership and order one of these machines, you certainly can find some in a used dealership or perhaps in the classified ads. They have a great safety rating, can accommodate 5 people (with pets in the back!), and drive like a road master. It's also equipped with the standard safety features in case you do get into an accident and is off the ground more than cars are to help reduce impact on your body. All in all, if I could go back in time and make a decision between this vehicle and another, I would buy two of these and give one to a friend!

An Old Vehicle But Reliable
The Pontiac Aztek may be a discontinued model, but there are definitely reasons why you see plenty of these SUVs still out on the road. I have found them very easy to work on for simple repairs, and they are very efficient. For the type of vehicle it is, they get decent city gas mileage and superb highway mileage. I have been able to take a trip from Indianapolis, Indiana to Columbus, Ohio without consuming more than half of the tank. They are fairly spacious and have plenty of back storage. The only thing I can say that I don't like is the fact that both of the Azteks I have owned have had several suspension and AC problems over the years. You will have to put a little bit of money into them over the years to keep them going, but I have yet to have one of them die on me. They are literally the vehicle that keeps on ticking.
