Bad decision
At the time of purchase, was decently priced for low mileage and decent remaining warranty. Very standard vehicle with technological advantages like Bluetooth/SYNC connectivity and hands-free activation button. Has automated lock system and anti-theft alarm. No scratches or visible imperfections. I bought this thinking I'd be able to refinance after a year, however, this car depreciates faster in value than I anticipated. I now owe twice as much as it's worth. I wish I would've known this before signing six years of my life away.

Great Car That Is Still Being Improved
The Honda that had been in my family's possession for 19 years finally died this past summer. I had driven it for 5 of those years. Looking for a good economy car, my husband and I found a 2014 Ford Fiesta that has been wonderful for our long trips! We purchased the car at 37,000 miles with full warranties, and included another warranty past manufacturers to ensure that it would be well protected. In the last almost 6 months, we have taken many long trips in this little car. Fuel economy is excellent. On highway travelling where our average speed is between 65 and 75, we can usually get about 42 miles per gallon on average, and 35 miles per gallon around town. Travel between 75 and 85 mph usually sets it back to 39-40 miles per gallon. The only problem is, Ford is still improving the transmissions on the automatic. From what I understand, it's halfway between a clutch and automatic. The first few months we owned this car, some transitions between gears would be very rough and shaky. After getting it "fixed" it still has shakiness. Thankfully, though, the warranties for this model have been extended while Ford is still making changes to the problem. I will enjoy owning this car for a few years till it is paid off, but will probably look into some sort of mini van that is guaranteed to get multiple hundreds of thousands of miles on it if well taken care of. The total life of a Ford Fiesta is still a shaky number in my mind.
